What's a fair price to pay for Mandarin?

Trying to work out a deal with an ebay seller, $55 for comic whiplash, mandarin, ultimate iron man with extra helmet, war machine with removable mask and arctic armour Iron Man, shipped! I think it's a good price, just want to get similiar feedback. If I get this deal should I leave Mandarin MOC or open, as I know he's rare.

I think that's a pretty fair price for all of them. I bought that wave from BBTS for $50 before shipping. And if you do go through with it, I'd say go ahead and open Mandarin. I know he's rare, but he's a really good figure. So why deprive yourself of that. Unless you already plan on selling him in the future, open him up and enjoy him.

Yeh, if I found those at my local winners I wouldn't bother haha, but being in Canada rather then the us, we get older waves months and months after you get them. I have found comic iron monger, hulkbuster etc at my Winners, and wouldn't you know it that after I acquire these, I probably will find them retail lol, Murphy's Law. It's not a bad price as retail they're $10/figure for me, 5 figures for $10 each and $5 to ship them... and Mandarin is selling newheres from $20-100 for the 1 figure. so just checking with other arkers to see what they've paid for him or willing to pay for him.

That's a steal, considering how much just one of those goes for.

At some point, it is likely we will see these at retail in the US - but who knows when or where, and if you will get there in time to pick them up. Considering I paid about 15 for Mandarin (prototype - I had to paint some details on) and 15 for Comic Whiplash, $55 for the set shipped wouldn't be bad. The trick is this: do you want ALL of the figures, or are there just one or two you really want? If you just want a couple, you are really paying too much. If you are trying to complete a set, then its a good deal. I passed on the BBTS set a few times because I really only wanted Whiplash and Mandarin and never regretted it because $50 plus shipping was too much for what I was wanting.

Couldn't you have just checked ebays completed listings to see how much Mandarin has been going for?
It's not a bad deal at all anyway, I'm just needing Mandarin and would pay 15 for him alone but I'm sure he is going for 25-30 alone if not more. If you need the others than go for it.

That's a great deal. Take it.

These are never guaranteed to show up anywhere again, so get 'em before they dry up altogether.

I say go for it as well. If you have the cash, it is a safe assumption that you won't find them for that price again anytime soon. I paid $40 just for Mandarin, albeit I was drunk at the time.

So far I only know of them being found at H.E.B. grocery in Texas and Winners in Canada. I am hoping they also come to other stores in the U.S. . As Goldbug pointed out, TJX owns Winners, Marshall's and TJ Maxx.
The deal you are asking about is still good though, because it keeps you from having to drive around hunting for them and that can save you money.

Really? I saw a Tuesday Morning by my Marshalls. Had no idea what kind of store that was much less that they had toys for sale.

I found the Mary Batson figure from DCUC with a Darkseid piece in one of those stores last week, I posted about it in the Sightings thread for Missouri. The weird thing is mine was right by a Marshalls too. I also noticed that they had a GI Joe mars 3-pack for $7.99, so they carry Hasbro stuff. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up because the place was really crappy as far as selection, but it doesn't hurt to look if there is one near you.
