$250 is pretty steep. And if the Endor AT-AT is larger than the the current AT-AT, then damn,.. that one is bigger than my dog.

I see they added the picture finally to the Falcon .. it looks to me the same model we had a few years ago .. the only difference is the vintage style box ..

$250 is way too expensive in my opinion for the Falcon. I wouldn't be surprised if these things will be warming shelves at Toys R Us just like the other high-priced Star Wars vehicles like the previous AT-AT currently are in my area.

Crazy ass price hike. I think TRU does this because some customers/parents don't know that it went for much cheaper years back, like a $110 less even at TRU.

This thing is a repaint at best, or the exact same toy in just a new box at worst. I got one a few years back and at most it should only be $120+.

I asked at SW Celebration 6 if there were any changes. Hasbro people told me it is unchanged from the first Big Falcon. Only the box and price are new. Mine was $60 from Walmart.

See that right there, that's proof it did not need to be $250.

The toy is unchanged, but Hasbro or TRU feel that the vintage box is worth an extra 100 bucks. I didnt buy it then and I dont plan on buying it now.

Wait, is this the big one they released 3-4 years ago or the small one released during POTF/POTF2?

It's the large one they came out with a couple of years ago, just in a different box. I'm actually curious now if Disney will have any say in what products get released or not. I think it's crazy to release a toy that came out only a couple of years ago, put it in a different box, and then mark up the price. At least change the toy in some way.

My understanding is that Slave 1 has been pushed back until next year at the very earliest, and possibly even later. Apparently there was a rather large goof-up on someone at Hasbro's part, and they completely forgot that Episode II 3D was hitting next year (and thus more likely encouraging a re-release of the Ep. II Slave I despite the fact that Toys R Us still has some of that set moldering on its' shelves).

Personally I always just figured that the Fett-style "bigger" Slave I would come the same year Ep. V 3D hit theaters, but it seems we'll get it sooner.

Too much money wasted for just a different box. I for myself wont waste a 250$ figure that was rerelease few years ago.

I know that prices have gone up a lot the last couple of years because of things like shipping, the price of plastic, and higher wages for workers but this is basically double the price. I know a lot people found the last one for around $100 and even less on clearance.

It's pretty simple, the price on these will come down some so none of us who know are going to pay that much. However, $250 would be better spent on a high end statue or Hot Toy that will actually GAIN in value a few years from now.

I think Disney will encourage Hasbro to be more aggressive(as in with newer product that will sell and toys that are proven sellers, not reissues of outdated toys from 1999 in new packaging with higher markup and no retooling) and cut back on shelfwarmers, I'm sure Disney isn't happy to see episode 1 3D stuff from January STILL readily available in abundance at any given Walmart.

I'm kind of surprised they charge so much for this ship. I mean it's clearly going to be a peg warmer. I don't ever see kids these days pointing at it and telling their parents they want one, especially in the vintage boxes. And I do realize that its out there for collectors, but any collector that wanted one, bought it at it's first release. Since the economy sucks and it's the holidays, I don't see this moving at all.

I think there may be a few well-to-do parents that might shell out for it, but I agree the bulk will be from collectors who want that vintage box art (or who passed on it when it was first released).

I still think it will shelf-warm before most of those same collecters take a bite. If it drops below $100, I might even get one to put next to my $50 big AT-AT (thank you K-mart clearance).
