What are your Top 10 figures you wish Mattel had done before they stopped making figures (not counting the 6 shown at SDCC)
10: Soranik Natu - Shes one of the Best Green Lanterns ever 9: General Zod - I was a little Surprised he didn't get made this year 8: Wonder Girl II - Way long over due 7: Jade - to Finish off Alan Scotts Children 6: Dr. Sivana - Captain Marvels main enemy 5: Terra - Teen Titan Traitor 4: Batwoman - Only member of Batman Family not yet done 3: Merlyn - No Green Arrow enemies 2: Vixen - She could easily have been in Wave 20 1: Indigo-1 - Only because all the other Leaders of the Lantern Corps are out

I would have loved a Batman Beyond subline, but oh well. They could have easily made Ace be the BAF with the other members of the RFG in a four pack or something.

I really only collect Batman stuff from this line, so my list will be all Batman related. I tried to pick characters that hadn't been done yet and not ones that needed another go or may still come out. I also didn't use any alternate or future reality characters. I'd love to get a line dedicated to just The Dark Knight Returns Graphic Novels so my Batman wouldn't feel so lonely I could make a top 10 list just for that line.
10. The Ventriloquist with Scareface 9. Carmine Falcone 8. Hush 7. Calendar Man 6. Scarecrow & Mad Hatter Two Pack 5. Holiday 4. Alfred young and old either head swap or variant 3. Commissioner Gordon With Lt. Gordon younger variant or Barbara Two Pack 2. Killer Croc Oversized 1. Thomas & Martha Wayne Two Pack with a younger Bruce Wayne. Another thing I would have liked was an Arkham Inmate Two Pack that had a male and female generic body in an Arkham jumpsuit with interchangeable heads. A man can dream. I have to make a separate list for Green lantern. Because there's no way they could share a list. My head would explode trying to make Mia and Natu compete.
In no order: Stephanie Brown Batgirl Mia Dearden Speedie Teen Titans Superboy Miss Martian Ragdoll Jeanette Scandal Savage Ice Modern Donna Troy Cassie Sandsmark Wondergirl Green Lantern: GL Arisia GL Natu GL Iolande SS Fatality SS Mira RL Bleez IT Indigo, w/ microsized IT Atom BL Oversized Brother Warth SC Superboy Prime Orange Lantern threepack, similar to the threepack we already got, but only as construct Orange Lanterns. Would have been cool to have a number of GL twopacks... perhaps released exclusively to e-retailers.. maybe two a year? Sector Partners, and would be sort of a troop builder for the various corps.

I'm actually glad Mattel did not release any more Black Lanterns than what they did. I bought a whole bunch of them from DCD and now I look at them and think, "Why did I waste my money on these?"

OK I guess it's been awhile since I played the wish list game...
1. bearded Aquaman (TBTB) 2. Lex Luthor (DCAU) 3. Lois Lane (DCAU) 4. Catwoman (BTAS) 5. Music Meister (TBTB) 6. Crazy Quilt (TBTB) Definitely would've bought those. After that's a little hazy. I thought JLU and TBTB did an outstanding job of making alot of background characters interesting. But DC doesn't seem interested in doing that anymore and Mattel would charge so much for new DCUC toys that it wouldn't be worth it. Last edited by RKillian; 09-06-2013 at 10:05 AM.. |
