Im looking to get a pre back-break Knightfall era Batman figure (Brucie, not JPV), one in the classic blue and grey (no black on the cowl) with yellow/black bat symbol and long ears

Ive seen the Killing Joke figure (too rare and expensive) and the DC History figure (slightly odd hands and cape)....are there any others i should look for?

Don't know if a figure like that actually exists. You may have to gather 2 or so Batman figures and swap parts.

Too bad crime stopper Batman has that black on his cowl otherwise he would be perfect.

DC Direct Superman/Batman series 4.

Pretty easy to find on eBay, like this one.

Oh yeah.... thats it. I saw it at a comic shop a couple years ago and was just thinking about it today. It looks cool, but I don't like the dumb expression on his face.

Okay, yeah that is Kryptonite Batman.

Pretty buff figure, but I don't think it fits the OP's criteria.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1707485438...84.m1423.l2649
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3802456210...84.m1423.l2649
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3604238637...84.m1423.l2649

getting frustrated now....plus i found my old bat figure collection but there are 2 missing and i cant find them, probably in the loft but its a right pain to find stuff up there

If you can be patient, try this: Get you a DCUC wave 1 Crime Stopper/Classic Detective Batman. . .the one that looks like Super Powers version. Then, in a few months, Toys R Us will have the 2pack of Battle Damaged Batman and red Azrael Batman. The Battle Damaged Batman has a great all-blue head sculpt with long ears. Check it here. Then a simple head swap.

The last link you posted is actually a 3 3/4 in. figure (I have it) and you don't want to buy one unless you just wanted a smaller Batman too. Plus, that is a horrible price.

I'm probably going to buy that set anyway. Too fucking awesome to pass up, assuming I find one in person.

hmm im not keen on the head swapping thing, knowing my luck ill just end up with 2 broken figures....but that set is meant to represent both Knightsend Batmen so i may get that and be done with it....that damaged bats could be posed with either Bane or Azbats

does anyone have any pics of the Crisis on Infinite Earths Batman i posted above?

edit: on a related note...did they ever explain why JPV's armor changed from blue to red after he fell off the bridge?
