Hey guys, I've got to find a cheap and efficient way to store my DVDs. I need more toy space and I guess my media space will have to suffer as a result. LOL. I'm thinking of doing away with all my plastic cases and then inserting them into a system like these:
Set of 50 DVD cover/sleeves/storage soft cover *NEW* | eBay
3kaze DVD Storage Kit
DVD Pro Storage System and media storage solution

They're all pretty expensive. Actually, they're not so much expensive as they are insanely expensive to ship to Canada. Seems like most of these companies are in Australia for whatever reason.

Any suggestions for cheaper alternatives? I need a good space saving solution where I can keep the disc and sleeves in their original condition without creasing the sleeves. I'm not keen on ripping them all to an HDD.

You can get a really nice cd holder for less the $50. I got a nice thick leather one that has sheets inside that hold 4 cd/dvd's on 1 page and each page is double sided, holds about 200 and takes up as much room as a large book, and there's pockets in front to hold all the sleeve covers. You can also find expanders little compact plastic housings that expand out like an acordian and hold multiple some are really need and can hold 100-1000+ Check the music storage section in your local Walmart.
