Just a heads up on that Muggs set. It looks like Giant man is a regular sized Mugg and the others are the mini Muggs (size of the Target Star Wars exclusive sets). Still cool though.

thats for the movie studio, not hasbro nor its toylines. I'm sure Hasbro will have plenty to offer at Comiccon. Personally I'm hoping to see somthing on vehicles like that Shield Car from last year

I am pretty sure the Marvel Legends SDCC Heroic Age thor is cancelled. Hasbro just released all their promo pictures for july today, including their Comiccon stuff, so its safe to say its not coming.

I don't think it's cancelled.

1) I don't think they've shown everything yet. The packaging for the Indy figures for example has yet to be released.

2) "Hammering out the details", to me means that they're still trying to work out packaging for Thor.

3) It's just like Hasbro to make ML fans sweat.

The Hammering out the details thing is more about a beta ray bill MU, acording to the rest of that comment.
Also, even though they dont have the packaging for the Indy set, they DO have photos of the Indy set, yet nothing whatsoever on ML Thor

Speaking on Marvel Legends, I'd prefer it if they focused their attention soley on Marvel Universe and Movie Lines. I'm afraid ML will end up causing the cancellation of the 4inch figure lines

Me too. I don't collect Legends, and I'm not about to start. I got into this line because of the size and price.

Same here. Six inches just invites too much over sculpting and detail that detracts from the overall figure in my opinion. I also despise hand joints. I'm a big fan of just enough articulation and detail, not "holy crap 64 points of articulation and swappable heads!".

not to mention, as of right now Marvel has more Hasbro toy lines than any other boys toyline from hasbro.

Transformers has Movie and Universe
GIjoe has Pursuit of Cobra
Star Wars Has Clonewars and Vintage

Marvel has as of this moment Spiderman, Marvel Universe, Thor, Captain AMerica, Superhero Squad.

And next year its looking like it'll be MU, Amazing Spiderman(I figure Spiderman will become the Amazing Spiderman movie line, cause its spiderman), Avengers, Superhero Squad, Marvel Legends

Since marvel legends are more expensive, and more plastic, a single ML figure is gonna be worth 2 MU figures, so ML will be worth 2 lines. Then theres the amount. Somthings gotta give.

Squad wont cause its popular with the kids and is backed by a tv show and an MMO. Spiderman and avengers wont cause of movies. That leaves Marvel Universe, Which a handfull of retail stores have been dropping.

Course this all means nothing if Hasbro does what I hope and treats Marvel Legends as a special collectors item sold online.

EDIT : And THEN theres the offchance that Hasbro might make a toy series devoted to the Ultimate Spider-man TV Series thats coming this year. Thats 6 Toylines, not counting exclusives and masterpiece

The SHSquad toyline is pretty much already cancelled.

I love the paranoia regarding ML taking away from MU. It's exactly what ML fans went through when the MU line started.

I won't be buying any ML either.

SHS is supposed to stay at TRU, but I don't know if that's 100% certain.

its very dissapointing seen hasbro every SDCC only release very few exclusive figures now, until now for action figure i just see sentinel, mighty muggs spidey, mighty muggs set and some minimates also bust. i hope can see more for 6inch figures and 3inch that new.

exclusive or not, there's not different, in normal activities, we can still found some bad distribution and not all places can have the same stock, example in 1 line there's 5 figures, and when official release, you only can easy to find 2-3 figures and the rest is very hard to find (this is normal character not variant)

Personally, I despise the exclusives- noting like hosing fans that buy the line in favor of guys that pay $70 for a digital subscription or can afford to go to SDCC, or pay ebay scalper prices!
They should have a straight UPC code mail away offer for us fans that buy the line- send in four code and shipping, get a free Cloak and Dagger (or whatever)

I actually hope ML takes over MU maybe be the DCUC DCIH dynamic but No to only selling ML online and I not putting down the 3 3/4 by no means I believe that legends and universe can coexist but some people dont want that to happen especially on here.
