Don't get me wrong, I completely agree that Doc Ock and Venom should be released in MU as well (or instead of). I'm just thinking of it from Hasbro's perspective. They generally don't want two of their lines to have similar figures in them on the shelf at the same time, competing against each other (but it's perfectly acceptable if they're part of the same line, hence redecos).

It was the same strategy they used on Transformers Universe and Animated - if a character appeared in one, they wouldn't be in the other line at the same time (if the toys were similar). Maybe later on down the road, but not while the first one remained on shelves.

That's why we never got a Classics Jazz, but got a Classics Prowl and an Animated Prowl at the same time (one was a black/white police car and one was a gold/black police bike).

I would like to think that the 2 of the last 3 figures will be, Dr.Doom & Wreker.

Dr.Doom - he was the MAIN villian
Wrecker - Well...they are doing the rest of the crew...
#3? - Not sure, this is up in the air.

I was thinking about the old Colossus MU proto and maybe he's the last SW member but Hasbro doesn't want to show their hand show people buy the XO:W Colossus first.

I agree that if Venom/Doc Oc in SMC isn't given some more joints, they'll need to be released in MU proper.

I agree. This is very true. Now a days more collectors are looking for articulation, or, at least I"M looking for more articulation.

Doc Oc and Venom are a MUST to be redone.

It seems we are missing only 3 figures and I bet anything that one of these will be Doom. But there are still a few characters that were big in Secret Wars that quite possibly will be made. Please thank Kluster Bombs of Hisstank.com for the information of the 3 upcoming figures shown on this website.

I agree that Doom has to be one of them{though I've already customed myself one} but here's a suggestion I think has been overlooked. We've got Thing, Mr. Fantastic, and the Torch all as part of the SW packs, so what about Sue Storm? She was part of the SW too I believe. I know Marvel seems to be hesitant to do female characters but I could see how you could use the Spiderwoman mold for her. Just a thought I had.

Sue wasn't a part of SW, she was still on Earth carrying unborn Franklin I believe. So the FF was actually short one member during the whole SW, even when She-Hulk joined at the end of the event, because the Thing opted to stay behind.

Yeah I'm hoping for Doom and Wrecker, to complete the Wrecking Crew. Then for the remaining spot I'd like to see any of the following...She-Hulk, Absorbing Man, Doc Ock or Titania.

You guys are quick on the gun! I missed that.

Hawkeye is correct. Sue was on Earth.

Has anybody thought about the alien chick? What if Hasbro goes all left field and releases her?! You know, the chick that Collossus and Human Torch had a hard on for...

I'm a sucker for articulation.

On a completely unrelated note - I would love to have some articulated Watchmen 3 3/4 figs.... one can only hope.

Did I totally miss something or has Hasbro announced plans to do a Bulldozer figure? As far as I've seen only Thunderball and Piledriver have been announced. I'm hoping for the Wrecker and Bulldozer as well, though.

The Secret Wars packaging art for Storm, Thing and Bulldozer are shown here:

Yes, but he will apparently also be in one of the SW packs in his John Byrne outfit. The upshot is if you're having trouble finding the single pack variant of TELBET in his Underoos, just wait and get the SW version.

Besides, it's not like they haven't already released the same figure more than once, or announced it will happen (Peter and Tony, I'm looking at you).

Super psyched for Storm! And from the looks of it, we're getting Bulldozer instead of Wrecker. Huh? Why would they release the wrecking crew without their leader? Maybe Hasbro's got some cards up their sleeve.

We suspect that Wrecker will be one of the three remaining figures yet to be revealed. Stands to reason, since we're getting the other three members of the Crew.

Another likely candidate for the remaining slots is Dr. Doom. As for the third, it could be anyone that appeared in the crossover, though some are more likely than others.

I'm not too sure about that. That Colossus is not in his classic outfit that he wore in the SW comics. All the other figures are based exactly on their appearance in the comics. The Colossus figure from the XMO:Wolverine line is in the proper costume, so that can't be counted as part of the SW packs. That leaves the slot open for another character.

Both the Toy Fair prototype and the Secret Wars version are VERY close. The only difference I see is that The TF version does not have "winged" shoulders.

Yea, pretty close. Other than the winged shoulders I believe that this Colossus prototype doesn't have the black markings on the kneecap portion of his boots. Can't really tell from this picture but I've seen a pic somewhere else that showed he didn't have them.

Actually you're wrong about all the others based on exactly their appearance in the SW comics. Hawkeye in the SW comics had long sleeves (i.e. the costume Mockingbird patched him up in his first Limited Series, which he wore for most of the earlier issues of West Coast Avengers).

The cover to SW #1 wrongly shows him in his no sleeves w/arm bracelets costume, like the model shown at SDCC and in the illustration by Layton, which is what Bob probably based it on.

Well at least he is shown on the cover in the corresponding outfit.

And hey, I could be wrong about them including Colossus in the SW packs. I'm just hoping that they don't so another character can be used and they just release Colossus as a figure in the regular/main line.

I hope that the Secret Wars packs continue with Secret Wars packs, the comic series released a few years ago that was fully painted. Most of the characters in it had their modern costumes too. I hope comic packs go beyond SW...I have a feeling Civil War is next. With most of the characters there appearing in [i]Dark Reign[/b], and featuring many characters which could complete teams in MU by next year, it's a logical choice. Reason enough to give us a "What If" Captain America Iron Man armor(Extremis repaint), and modern Captain America. Same goes for Astonishing X-Men Wolverine and the X Men.

I agree with you buddy, I'd like to see many others in before Colossus as I'm sure he'll get a release eventually with the multitude of X-Men and their huge popularity.
