Just wondering what would make someone do this. I know card errors are real. I have a few. But this is truly someone who know how to repack and calls them errors. Bewere not to buy. They look like there real. But this guy is skilled at repacks. I just think people should know this befor you buy them that that there fake. First the captain a box you can see on the right hand side where it was resealed. Also you can see how fake the havoc one is but what would make this guy do this. Is this legel. Should this guy be reported. Please give your thoughts.

thanks for the laugh. if you could prove he knows it was a repack then I'd report him but it could have been some poor sucker who can't tell a repack himself and is just trying to cash in on some other unsuspecting slub

I wonder if you ask a question if it shows up or if the seller has to approve it's appearance, cus you could kind of call him out for the repack in a question which might alert other buyers from falling for it

Both auctions are closed now. Either he did it himself, or Ebay did it for him. Zero bids on both.

By the way, the figure in the Havok package is from The Corps. (a G.I.Joe clone/knock-off), and it is definitely NOT a Hasbro toy. There is no way that that figure could have ended up in a MU package at the factory level to be "found" later at retail. It's impossible due to the way the toy manufacturing process works.

I don't see why u would want these anyway even if it was real. If I wanted colossus then I would buy a colossus, not a pack like that.

this is for the MOC crowd as sometimes these card errors go for big bucks which I think is the real appeal plus having something someone else doesn't

I doubt Ebay would shut him down. there's no fraud going on here. You can clearly see the figure in the package, so you know what you're getting. It's not being hidden at all. Whether or not you feel it's worth $175 and whether it's fake or not only matters to the person bidding.

Also, it's highly unlikely a parent is savvy enough to search for a figure on Ebay and NOT know what they're looking for. You'd have to be willfully ignorant not to realize that "hey, I'll need to know what version of this character my kid wnats" and "Hey, I'm going to spend 17 times the cost of the figure because.... I dunno, I'm really drunk?".

Well, he might have legitimately found someone else's repacks that were returned to the store, and then for some reason thinks anyone pays for packaging errors anymore. Thankfully that idiocy mostly died out with Kenner and the first waves of the new Star Wars line.

As MOC collector, heck no this has no appeal to me whatsoever...I rather throw my $ at the exclusive AA figure and open him up

I'd never want those. I feel bad if the dude thought they were legit.

The rest of his auctions are pretty nice! (Though I wish he'd learn to rotate the images...)

Your crazy packaging mistakes and variants that are rare go for a ton of money. While it may not be your or my thing there is a significant market and will always be one. if I ever found a legit one at retail I might hang onto it or I might sell it on ebay. If I did I would start it at .99 cents and let the buyers decide its worth.

Only for lines the masses give a shit about, or when two people (seller and buyer) THINK it's worth that. I got a Toon Raphael on a Toon Zak card for $7 shipped.

Error cards/mispacks aren't a "thing" like they used to be.

It's almost worth the $7 just to see what the repack looks like.

I always wondered how they change that stuff out. It's probably just a nice tape peel from the two sides, and a good re-tape job.

He's dropped the prices and reposted them.

I've been suckered by a repack once. Once. However...turns out the figure they repacked was one I didn't have and wanted! Take that you bastard!

Why would anyone even repack that? The cap figure is really common and Colussus is not.

We need to a Cantina Ailen set and repack some Thor movie Frost Giants with them. just for shits and giggles.

i'd say that is legit because it is heat sealed unlike Mu which just has the tape at the bottom and glue along the sides and top
