I love vanilla coke. I still find it sometimes are Walgreens or the local Deli will have some, but it's rare. Even supermarkets I think still carry 12 pack cans.

I've got to remember that you're from New Zealand so there's a good chance that milk in ones coffee wouldn't be a cultural norm there. It was like when my ex and I were dating and she thought it was disgusting that we ate Peanut Butter and Jam sandwiches. What's the popular drink in New Zealand?

I need a little milk in order to make the coffee opaque. It's more a visual thing than a taste thing. Black coffee looks like dirty water to me.

Funny enough I said Coke Blak earlier and how upset I was that it isn't made anymore.

On the flip side, Pepsi Kona was friggin disgusting. I had high hopes for it but it was as bad Crystal Pepsi (although Crystal Pepsi 2.0 wasn't all that bad).

I used to drink a half dozen of those little Coke Blaks every day. The sugar and Caffeine high was the only downside.

On another note, I really like that Grass Jelly Drink they have at the local Asian Grocery. It looks like it should be awful but it works.

Dude, that stuff is disgustingly bitter without sugar, but agreed, it's pretty tasty with the right additives.

I put milk in my coffee only when I've brewed it at home.

I also sometimes like to make my hot cocoa with milk too.

Forgot to add Very Vanilla Soy Milk. I was a vegetarian for 5 years and this was my milk substitute and I cant stand any soy milk/rice milk or anything else like that but the very vanilla soy milk has a much sweeter and different taste.

I think Okay soda was all right, but probably not my favorite.

It was just okay.

I remembered that I used to like Pepsi. In fact, I once had no preference between pepsi and coke.

However, around 15 years ago, pepsi had a contest. Each cap had a different word under them, and if you completed a certain phrase, you won a certain prize.
Well... one of the prizes was a trip to enzed, to meet Lucy Lawless and see Xena be recorded.
I also happened to work in a grocery store at that time. And I wanted that trip. So I had a pepsi in my hands at all times. Untill the promotion was over, I was constantly buying them.

To this day, I still can't stomach pepsi anymore.

Anyhow, I love colas of any kind. Be it generic or the big brands. As long as it's that dark stuff I'll drink it down. Except Dr. anything...that taste just don't sit right with my insides.

I'm more of a fan of fruit juices (for which I enjoy the fruity taste) where as I think I derive pleasure from satisfying my addictions with cola for which in reality, I don't quite get the same genuine flavour fulfillment from.

Fruit juices...hm besides generic like apple, orange, grape, cranberry, etc.

I keep wanting to get some frozen juice but am too lazy to make it despite the simple process.

Tomato juice is pretty good every now and then too. I use to dislike it but once I had it a few times I was hooked.

I used to love the clear Gatorade flavors until they stopped selling them in my area. The closest I've come since is Powerade, which just isn't the same.

I always thought of it as blueberry-flavored milk. Some have chocolate milk, others have strawberry milk.

I'm surprised no one has come out with blueberry syrup yet, at least as a marketing test.

Coca Cola. I'm addicted to the stuff... I think the best taste comes from a 500ML bottle, it has to be refrigerated. If it's at the right temperature when you break the seal from the cap the cold gas inside hits the warm air and you get a nice bit of "steam" that rises up, the smell of that wets your appetite. A couple of seconds later you place the top of the bottle against your lips and take your first sip. At this point it's not yet gone flat and the fizz hits your tongue, it hurts a tiny bit but not too much. It's nice and cold and that feeling is amazing... Then I just tend to drink the rest of the bottle throughout the course of the next half hour or so, it goes flat towards the end and you get this sort of sticky after taste in your mouth... But it's worth it.
