While I only own a couple of Indiana Jones toys, I've had the good fortune to photograph everything from Lego Indy to Hot Toys Indy, and I gotta say...
...my favorite is probably whichever of the Hasbro Indy figures appears so often above. Hasbro's Indiana Jones series was wildly uneven, especially during its initial wave, but this version came together quite nicely, and considering it retailed for, what, $8 or so, I'd suggest it's probably the best bang for your buck, if nothing else. What's your favorite Indiana Jones toy?

I had the one from Crystal Skull that had no jacket and came with an RPG but wanted a younger Indy with a hat so I got one from Raiders and swapped heads. Sadly I don't know what I did with it.
Never saw the one from Last Crusade which sucks because that's my favorite movie from the series. |

Great pics!!! I wish more people took pics in location instead of in front of a backdrop.

I love the one I have now, but I can't remember what it's called. Thanks! To be fair, I am inept at lighting and such, so I basically have to photograph toys outdoors. Still, I do prefer outdoor photos in general.

I have the two newer Disney Parks exclusive Indy figures, Hasbro Raiders Indy, and the Figma Indiana Jones that just came out. I wish I had gotten more of the 3 3/4 Hasbro figures when they came out. The TOD and LC ones looked good, as well as the CS ones.
I like the Figma for being close to 6 inch scale and all the accessories. His articulation is pretty good as well. Super disappointed though that the whip broke right out of the box. Its a nice figure though. I guess I would say that one is my favorite one that I have. Indiana Jones is my all time favorite action hero and movie franchise. I want Hasbro to make a 6" Indiana Jones line like the Star Wars Black Series. I think they could do some great figures. Last edited by IndyMOS; 03-30-2014 at 07:04 PM.. |

Crap, I totally forgot about that figure!
How much does he cost? The whip broke right away? That's weak sauce.

I had just gotten into customizing figures when the IJ line was out, and as a thank you to my groomsmen at my wedding, I made them all custom carded figures. Indiana Jones was the only line with people in regular clothes (without built in gun holsters). My more professional-minded groomsmen got various Star Wars/Joes heads plopped onto the Indy with a jacket, khaki's and tie (he came with a machine gun), and my friends that were more laid back got Mutt Williams' t-shirt bodies. So those two were my favorites from the line.
As far as representation of Indy goes, I can't remember if it was the single carded Raiders figure or the one who came with the horse that was my fave. |

Other than that he's pretty nice, maybe the proportions are a bit skinny though. Also I would've wanted the Cargo Truck from Raiders. That looks pretty nice to go with the figures, and its one of my favorite scenes in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Last edited by IndyMOS; 03-30-2014 at 07:05 PM.. |

Thanks for the info. I shall add him to my "Someday" pile. In the meantime, post some pics!
