I've always been a 3.75 in. collector, but the other day I found walmart had Marvel Legends on sale for $10! I picked up an extremis IM and it's awesome! I didn't think I'd like 6 in. figures this much!

Anyway, what are some of the better ML Iron Man figs? I really have no idea which armors have been made, except for the movie ones.

There haven't been too many huge mistakes with Ironman figures IMO, but it's all in the eye of the beholder. My personal favourite is the ToyBiz series 8 modern armor, but that's just me. Lately a popular one is the Bleeding Edge armor as people are saying that it captures the size of a man in a suit far better than some of the movie incarnations, two-packs and the Extremis that you mentioned. Hulk-Buster is high on my list and I also really like the Stealth armor that was released with Ironman 2 legends ( it may have been wave 1 but I can't remember).

Does anyone know how many Ironman figures have been made in 6"?

Here's a good site with pics of all the different Iron Man armors, as well as most of the Legends related stuff released to date. There is a drop down menu under the Marvel Legends section that leads to the various related lines such as Spider-Man Classics, Hulk Classics, Movie lines etc.

Link: MarvelLegends.Net - Marvel Legends

I personally like the Series 1 Gold Variant and the Heroic Age Armor from the IM3 line. My favorite armor is the War Machine figure from the Iron Man 2 Movie Series.

The ToyBiz series 8 Modern Armor was my go to armor in my main display for a long time, but ever since I got the Bleeding Edge armor and added a little paint it's replaced the modern armor in my display.
