Is this one of those deals where you post a pic of Doom doing something fantastic when in fact that isn't what actually happened in that comic?

Because when Thor's hammer fell to earth it ripped upen a hole that allowed Doom to escape from hell.

Doom and the FF tried to take possesion of the hammer in that comic, but none of them could lift it.

Only Donald Blake could, thus making me the WINNAH!

oh right so the arc where Doom is in the destroyer armor and steps on thors face is not thor getting stomped by Doom?the point here is that neither character has ever outright bested the other yet Doom is the only one who has put him face first in the dirt, staying true to the topic of the thread I say if given enough time in an arc Doom would find a way, tell or prove me wrong.

All depends on the situation. If Doom isn't ready for Thor, Thor would win. The trick is though, Doom always has a plan, or has a Doombot.

No problem, in the example you mentioned where Doom put Thor;s face in the dirt, it wasn't Doom. It was a Doombot in the Destroyer armor, and Thor won the fight.

So not only could Doom not beat Thor in a fight without something like the Destroyer helping him, but he could also not do it with the Destroyer armor.

Thor > Doom

Couldn't u also say show me a story where Thor was outright beaten by Doom?
I guess anyone has a chance and the outcomes are always based on what the writers decide.
Gotta go with Thor 9 out of 10 times with that one time Doom being able to get his hands on a power or device that could somehow beat Thor. On a normal day Thor takes that battle everytime considering he's a god while doom is a human.

the fact remains he has never been outright beaten so all of this remains opinion and that alone,I go with Doom because though he is human he has powers that can hurt a god.

Brace for Doombot!

"Thor then charges to Doom's castle where he fights the Latverian monarch one-on-one. Thor almost loses the fight when Doom manages to knock away his hammer and the 60 second limit almost passes, however Thor manages to regain his hammer at the last minute and fight off Doom. With Doom staggered, Thor flies off to the site of all Doom's specially built missiles and destroys them. With the threat of Doom over for now, Odin calls Thor to come back to Asgard to travel to the World Beyond. "

I doubt it,plus throwing up 2 issue numbers means nothing,I dont own them or have access to them so unless you can provide the content via link or picture this post is null and void.

I think Tie's post sums the events up nicely, only sorry guys, no Doombots in this one.

Thor out matched the actual Doom.

The issue even features Doom struggling, but unable to lift, Thor's hammer.

yet again says NOTHING of defeat, though it does show a "human" damn near beating a "god" but shows this "god" only holding back a mere "human",how can you miss this,he is a god right?yet all he can do is stagger Doom, you are starting to spin your wheels,I suggest you give up.

Your right, they both walked away intact. However Thor stopped Dooms plans for the day, so the victor on that fact alone, Thor wins. I still voted for Doom, because with the proper prep work and tools, Doom has it.

I have proven my point as well as I can,to continue would be redundant at best,in the end Doom stands tall, either on thors face or alone.

Some real gem posts in this thread, I'll tell you what. Had me laughing quite a bit.

But I digress.

I'd like to cast my vote for Doom, I'd like to but he'd lose. Seriously, as smart and powerful as he is, he's not a god, and if there's anything old Norman Oz proved(besides that whole almost taking over the world shtick) it's that you don't fuck with the power of a god.

Whether it's Thor or Aries.

On a related note you realize that you're arguing with a guy named Doomtron right?
