Given the 1/12 scale, 9.5" is too tall. In the game Darkseid stands like a head taller than Batman or Superman so if they were around 6 or 7 inches he shouldn't really be any taller than 8.

Very true. Heck, even at 9" would have been acceptable but 9.5" ?

Yeah I mean all their MK ninjas are almost 7" tall, a very big "1/12". I'm waiting to see if they'll make the normal characters like Superman, they've only shown these guys, you have to imagine they can make whoever they want right?

It is true that we don't really have any reference characters yet to properly compare Darkseid to but if he is 9.5" tall then Superman will have to be like 8" to match.

I have Goro and he's huge... Stats say he's 8'2 (98 inches), which would be 8 inches tall. I think the toy is 9.5" or 10" tall. Definitely not 1/12 scale. They tower over most of my action figures. These Storm Collectibles exist in a scale and proportions all their own, so hopefully they can complete as many main characters as they can for all the licenses they have.

Looking at the game's roster, they've got a ton of people to do. I'm sure the line would get a little bump once they release Superman, Batman, the Joker and the like.

hmm i might wait for a review , dark seid has been depicated as tall like dc's new 52 era?

Im tempted to get this though will wait till reviews , need to see if its worthlike £95

He's almost always been considered tall but classically he wasn't monstrously tall. He wound up breaking into the 10 foot area but the New 52 made the, in my opinion, error of making him ludicrously giant which tends to make it seem like he's just a physical threat.

I preordered this. He's going to be posed fighting the NECA Darkhorse Superman pretty much until the end of time. I think the scale makes much more sense for the 7" DC figures, so he'd pair up decently with DC Essentials.

That's a good point, he's probably too gigantic to use with any other Supermans.
