This is a question to all the fathers/mothers to be, parents at the moment or us guys and girls who may have kids in the near/distant future. What toys would you like to see you're kids playing with? What action figures do you think will be on the shelves 20 years from now?

When I was a kid I played with transformers, heman, TMNT, batman, spiderman,ghostbusters,beastwars,power rangers and lego. I was born in 1987 and literally every toyline I mentioned is still around, it either never stopped prodction or has been re-invisioned for collectors and kids alike, Ghostbuster and he-man/thundercats are prime examples. So what toys would you love to see your kids or kids in general playing with 20years from now?

I know the kids will like what they like, that's kinda a given, but what toys would you like to see still being sold, such as transformers, gi joe, Marvel Universe, ghosbusts,he-man, motu etc like do u see power rangers still around in 20 yrs or will it be your original toys they play with?

Ohhh, well I hope they get the chance to see comic book characters on the shelves and Transformers for sure, I don't need my child playing with Gi Joes that they will just lose everything too.

Hot Wheels then. I'm sure this is one line I wouldn't mind having around for many years to come. Tiny little cars of various kinds that stay ever so cheap that I can buy them till they want to move on to other toys.

I've always joked with my girlfriend that our kids would be into Transformers... Regardless of their gender! Funnily enough, she didn't seem happy with the prospect of girls playing with toy robots! ^^;

But seriously, I'd see my kids getting into Lego, or any other building toylines like Kre-O or Mega Bloks... You really can't go wrong with it, it appeals to right across the board.

I'd love it if he was into Joe, wrestling, and super hero toys like me, but he likes Star Wars, Transformers, and Lego.

Yep although it'd give me a big grin if my daughter (shes now 3) was collecting some Marvel characters and GI Joe's as long as she didnt spend as much as I do. Actually scratch that, I dont want my daughter or any of my future kids colleting anything!
