No pictures yet, because they haven't arrived yet.
There were pictures at NYCC.
So it is a Walmart exclusive? They never said if it was one.
How much?
It figures Walmart messes this up again & puts it out a week before Xmas missing the prime shopping dates yet AGAIN!
This will be on super clearance.
I like Thor's new head. This one probably doesn't have the paint problems the Avenger pack has.
Cap is pretty nice too.

I think I'm going to get it just to have.

I kind of like it... all the figures look really cool to me.

How much does it retail for?

Yeah.
I was messing around in the computer and found a listing for "Marvel Ultimate Battle Pack" back in May/June.
Then they showed this pack, and I just connected the dots.
I could be wrong, but I'm assuming it's the same set.

It seemed to me like something we'd carry as a holiday exclusive.
On the new mod set, it lists it as an exclusive.

I guess we won't really know for sure that they're one and the same until someone finds it in the store(which was the point of making this thread in the first place, to let people know it should be soon lol).

It should be either $27.99 or $29.97.
Somewhere around there.
I just saw the mod on my third 10+ hour shift in 2 days.

I may have been slightly tired. :-)

This set is only good for new fans to the MU line who don't mind outdated figures.

If it's 30 +/- I'll pick up two as I need a lot of those heads for a special project. Plus those Cap Shields will make decent trade bait.....

Good eye, and good idea!

I need doubles of the Thor, IM, and Wolverine heads for my 3D Secret Wars shadowbox covers issues #1 & #6. They will be mounted on a white backer in the upper left corner for the "Starring" boxes like the covers had.

Wait...what? Are you talking about something else? We already know about this set and that it was probably coming at Christmas. He's just telling us to start watching for it because it's showing up in the computer now.

Sorry if I misunderstood you.

I think he's talking about the SW (Star Wars?) battle pack and not the Marvel pack.

Ive been tossing around the same kind of idea for Avengers #200. This was the BEST era of Avengers IMO.

I took it the same way.

If he was asking about the SW battle pack, I honestly have no clue what that one is.
I've just heard of it listed for the first time on the new mod.

Given that most on this forum are panning this set I suspect these figs might be a good investment, given that mostly kids who still play with toys will likely be the main recipients of this set; 30 years from now mint copies will be hard to come by. These figs will likely sky rocket in price!

But Wolverine has a SWORD! A non red sword! I am ALL IN now!

But seriously, the wolverine is at least daken's mold minus tat and claws? I can't tell, but it doesn't look like the brown xmo version, so that's new no? I mean, I have 0 desire for this pack, but like the x-men box set, at least they changed things a tiny bit?

It very well may be.

But seriously, I think I might get this set just to open and play with. I think it is kinda cool.

Greenskar had the idea of using the clear shield for commander rogers too.

Does the spiderman have thigh swivels like the cap britain 2 pack?
