Well with the wolverine movie set to release in summer of 2013, I have some high hopes to see some more comic characters from this future line. It was the XMO line that got me back to collecting before I started with MU. The first figure I bought was comic xmo deadpool which is still a great figure to this day. I mainly want more villains from the wolverine story line and there are some great ones that might not make the mu cut.

WANTED

Cyber
Long hair Daken
lady deathstrike
And the ultimate one I want is a omega red

I also hope that this movie turns out better than the first one. A big disappointment for me was that they made wolverines claws cgi which looked fake. The scene where he is scrapping the fire escape was dumb.

I thought Fox was pushing the movie out next year (it IS doable, First Class had a pretty fast turn around)

Considering how poorly the last one did at retailers, I'm not holding hope for a dedicated "The Wolverine" line when the film comes out. Maybe a few retailer exclusives and some comic packs, but with Star Trek 2, Superman, Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 (along with a possible Fantastic Four redo, and who knows if Paramount might rush another Transformers sequel out by then) slated for 2013 summer (and 2012's summer is a lost cause between Avengers, Spider-Man, GI Joe, AND Dark Knight), I just don't see retailers that interested in Wolverine.

Omega Red is a definite must have.

I'd also like a more basic ninja version of the Hand ninja in both red and black to troop build.

Jeez another Wolverine movie? Especially after that last trash called Wolverine Origins??!?!?

I'd like to see a much better Deadpool with a bunch of weapons and I agree with Omega Red.

I think there should be want threads for every upcoming movie!

I'll be sure to create as many as I can next month when I'm eligible to win the Toyark Experience again.

I heard this movie is about Wolverine in Japan...

Some Japanese Yakuza guys would be pretty cool. Wolverine needs tons of cannon fodder to cut to pieces IMO.

Movie is going to fail, heck, I remember vibrating in my seat at the theater with everything they did wrong. I can live without another movie, and live without an other toyline. Omega Red, Cyber, Daken should all be MU anyways.

The best thing to come out of that movie was their toyline, without which we'd have never gotten the base figures for a height correct Wolverine, Deadpool, Astonishing Cyclops or Sabretooth (still the only way to get Sabretooth with short hair).

I like my Sabretooth with long hair. But I wouldn't be against having a short haired version.

I'm hoping this movie does better than origins. The japan story might be better to show. The villain is supposed to be silver samurai. I wanted xmo to succeed but I was disappointed.

I wish we would have gotten some First Class figures. Surely there'd be a comic Banshee or Beast in there...

The wolverine origins game was pretty good and gory. Good in a way where most movie games suck. I thought the movie was action packed too but I really did not like the cgi claws. They looked better in the x men movies.

The game was 10 times better than the movie. The best video game tie-in by far.

I agree. The game was good and really good considering it was a movie tie in.

Personally this is what I want.

Rerelease of jacketed movie logan, maybe in black leather jacket too. (Pure repainted jacket or original only.) I need a new one of him, and he was the single best movie-version logan they made.
Movie Version Silver Samurai (New mold)
Movie enemy troop builder (Ninjas, samurai, whatever it'll be.)
Yuriko (Geisha version if used in movie, kimono version if that's used instead.)

Movie classics(instead of concept series or DLX series, potential fodder for two packs too):

Movie Version Wolverine in X-Men uniform
Movie Version Cyclops

Movie Version Patrick Stewart as Prof. X in Wheelchair
Movie Version X1-X3 Magneto

Movie Version Colossus
Movie Version Kitty Pryde

Movie Version XFC Havok
Movie Version XFC Banshee

Movie Version XFC Xavier
Movie Version XFC Magneto

Movie Version XFC Mystique
Movie Version XFC Furred Beast

XMO:W Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson (NOT WEAPON XI!)
XMO:W Sabretooth (repack of XMO: Jacket Sabertooth)

Comic Series (single carded):

Series 1:
Unmasked Brown Suit wolverine with Muramasa Blade
Shiva Unit
Silver Samurai (Single carded from MU 2 pack)
Daken (Unmasked any version)
X-23(MVC3)
Lady Deathstrike (Classic)
Cyber
Romulus
Uncanny X-Force Deadpool (single carded)

Series 2:
AoA Wolverine as Apocalypse
X-23(Academy X: New X-Men Uniform)
Lady Deathstrike (Messiah Complex version)
Ultimate Wolverine
Uncanny X-Force Archangel (more black on front with silver skeletal outlines instead of the pure silver front exclusive.)
Omega Red
Ultimate Nimrod
Uncanny X-Force Psylocke

Series 3:
Emma Frost (astonishing x-men)
Age of Apocalypse Wolverine
Bastion
Daken (New Costume)
AoA Jean Grey
AoA NightCrawler
X-Force Wolfsbane (wolfed out in suit)
Uncanny X-Force Fantomex
X-Force Domino
Wolverine as Patch (Single carded from 2pack with new eye patched head)

New molds I'd say save for just the comic series ones that need it, and the absolutely needed new molds for movie related merchandise that's not Logan himself. Otherwise, part swap and use previous bucks for any and all you can. Adding additional gear for those that need expanded spots, similiar to how MU does it now.

But that's just what I'm hoping for at least. It'd cover a lot for MU later, take some cues from MU too, reuse some old molds, and add some new movie-products to flesh out the pegs some for kids. Plus it all fits a theme of Wolverine comics, appearances, and Emma can mirror the cyclops release in XMO:W line.

I have to disagree. The game was okay from what I played admitedly very little but it was no where near as good as Spider-man 2

Try playing all the way through it then. I definitely enjoyed it more than Spider-man 2 and I loved that game.

One reason why the XMO: Wolverine game was better than the movie was because it was already in development before the movie was even announced. When the demand came to develop a Wolverine movie game the decision was made to just go ahead and incorporate the game elements into the movie game and find ways to weave what they already had into the Movie story.

Why spend more money to start all over when they already had a movie game in development? The sad story is that we will never know what could have been if the game was never constrained by that terrible Hollywood story of Wolverine.

As for the movie, it was originally just supposed to be the Japan story to begin with...but the dicks over at Fox decided they know what consumers want better than the consumers and came to the conclusion that you can't have a movie about Wolverine in Japan without telling his Hollywood altered Origin story.

I have high hopes for the new movie, because they can learn from past mistakes. And since First class managed to overcome the suckiness of its predecessors, there's proof that this movie can still be good despite the movie which preceded it.

As long as it doesn't have the voice of the Wolverine Anime and that crappy music to go along with it...it should be better.

I definitely want Omega Red, Cyber, Daken (without costume and new costume) and Lady Deathstrike. All the comic versions obviously

Really? I hated the movie games, save for the first one, green goblin was so damned fun to play. I prefer the old n64 games over spider-man 2, though I never played 3,
