Would you like it if Hasbro's various 3.75" lines were assembled the same way, thus making it easier to swap parts? Heads, legs, feet, hands, and forearms, all without cracking a torso?

depends all in how its assembled. i think it was gi joe where all that held the figure together was a screw. but, thankfully designers got creative. Also, we can easily swap legs now, so were halfway there.

Don't care. My figures stay as they come.

Not a bad idea but most of the heads can be easily swapped between MU and GI Joes anyway.

I could careless either way. I don't customize or change any of my figures.

I have trouble swapping a lot of the heads between lines.
For instance, I wanted to use my Indy Cairo goons heads on some desert Cobra guys, but they wouldn't fit. I wish all the figs were constructed like Joe is now, only I wish Joe's torso was still screwed together so we didn't have to crack it, and if he was articulated at the waist instead of the ribs, it would be easier to change "shirts".

So many Joe heads would work perfect for MU unmasked variant heads. |

You can easily add hot glue to a oversized neck ball hole or hollow out a small neck hole with a drill bit. I'd love it if they would stick to similar tooling for all of the lines and go with it. Cracking torsos is not fun and you usually have to destroy at least one good fig to do it.
It was so much easier when we were kids and you could just pop a screw out though. I am glad we're past o rings though.

I read somewhere about putting the fig in a sock and then using a wrench/ pliers on the shoulders and just squeezing. I've done this to Joes, and it works perfectly.

I wouldn't care really. I don't customize my figures (doesn't stop me from speculating or suggesting customs). In fact, about the only time I will alter my toys is to fix an issue with it.

Take 25th Duke for example. His head sux. PoC Duke's head is much cooler, but last time I checked his shaft wasn't deep enough. (Insert joke here.)

[QUOTE=CLASSIFIED;164179]I'm not a big customizer either, but would swap parts more if it were a little easier.
True. A lot of the time, I won't do customs simply because of the time, space and energy involved. But swapping parts would probably make me a little more open to the idea of customizing. But the figures would still have to be good on their own first. Quote:

It's too late now. I'd hate it if they suddenly decided to go this route and I'd have 50 percent of my figures with screws in their thighs with visible seams and 50 percent without, not to mention the plastic is totally different. The Marvel stuff uses a softer plastic for the legs and arms and heads. You can really tell the difference when you handle the figures. I even hate the way Cap figures look next to MU, especially the Captain Americas and US Agent. Crossbones is passable somewhat blends in but the Caps and the like are eyesores. This is the same attitude I have about the backholes. I don't want any changes to the figures now that they've established a standard.
