Axe and Smash, the Demolition! What an intimidating duo indeed!

The Masks come off!

And their opponents... Road Warrior Hawk, Road Warrior Animal, the Legion of Doom!

LOD shows no fear for their opponents!

The action spills to the outside! Hawk with a lariat on Axe.

Axe responds, smashing Hawk's head into the steel post.

The action returns to the ring, Axe introduces Hawk to Smash's boot!

Oh no! They're setting him up for the Decapitation!

Animal charges in for the rescue!

Smash soars off the top rope for a flying body press but Animal catches him in mid-flight!

Animal with the powerslam!

Axe is dumped to the outside!

Animal sets Smash up for the Doomsday Device!

Hawk takes off with a flying lariat!

The pin is made! Nice try Axe, but Animal has a present for you! 1... 2... 3!!! LOD is victorious! They snack on danger... DINE ON DEATH!!! Ooooooooohhhhh what a rush!!!
Wow. Dude that was an awesome set of pics, keep'em coming!

I originally wanted the Wrestlemania Scale Ring because it came with the corner steps but then I decided on Wrestlemania 2 instead because it also came with a scale steel cage with working door (but it came with side ring steps instead). Mattel was going to do one that came with Andre the Giant, but they cancelled it, so thank goodness I got this version. I'm eagerly awaiting the next wave. As usual, the figures aren't available here. Still hoping to get my hands on Papa Shango.
I remember that ring, it was hella expensive IIRC. Can't get any better then that though!

Yeah, good ol' Abe. Although for some weird reason, they introduced him as M.V.P. at the 20 man Battle Royal for the vacated Intercontinental Championship that kickstarted the feud between Razor Ramon and Rick "the Model" Martel and then there was no mention of him for the longest time and then suddenly, he was back as Abe Knuckleball Schwartz.

Thanks, man. I plan on doing some more soon.

Yeah, I see it go from anywhere between $150 to $300. I found it MIB for $70 about a year ago and snatched it up right away.

How DARE you...? I'd challenge you to a game of Spinjas, but we both know the trouble that can cause and you've got the knuckle marks on your forehead to prove it...

Getting back on-topic...

I really liked the third set of pics. Road Warriors/LOD are one of my all-time favorite tag teams. Definitely my favorite of that era.

Also thought it was funny that thechris kept flipping back and forth between Road Warriors and LOD during the match commentary.

Yeah, I think there were issues using the Road Warrior name in WWF because Hawk and Animal didn't want to sell their brand to Vince, Jr. so they just changed it to Legion of Doom which was their AWA stable's name... Although I think I only referred to them as Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal individually during the intro (which was what they did in the WWF) but never as the Road Warriors collectively, which I always found humourous myself. Good catch. LOL. I'm a stickler for those details. Demolition was a clone of the Road Warriors, but does anyone remember Powers of Pain? They were brought in to take on Demolition and they were even more of a blatant rip off than Demolition were. They were also involved in a crazy double turn during a Survivor Series where Powers of Pain switched over to Mr. Fuji's side and Fuji turned on the Demolition near the end of the match. It was crazy.
