Looks like they decided to actually put some action in it. Should have switched out Cage with someone else.
Also that final scene was really stupid and unnecessary.

You know, while I also don't care at all for Cage as an actor, I have to feel like this is on a similar level to Hulk. No matter who plays banner, it really comes down to how well the Hulk is portrayed to me.

I am watching this movie for Ghost Rider, not Johnny Blaze. I watch Hulk movies to see Hulk in action, not Bruce Banner pathetically not being able to even have sex because he'll become the Hulk from excitement (even though it is funny to me). I'm hoping the trailer isn't misleading and we really do get more ghost rider action then a pathetic Nick Cage attempt at Johnny Blaze.

I read the comics to get a better story of who their human counterparts are and how they struggle with their curse/gift. If Hollywood can work those elements into the movie, more win for me. For now, I'm just glad I'm getting more of this on the big screen.

I didn't like the first one, but that one felt like a comic book movie... this one looks more like Mad Max or something. LOL.

I enjoyed the first movie as a deconstruction of the western genre.
But I gotta say, I'm laughing and enjoying the new trailer as almost an "eff you" to the comments about the first lacking action and not being more balls to wall drag out fights. The entire pissing fire alone to me just screams "Fine, you don't like a thinking man's comic book movie, here's GR pissing fire!"

So I know I'm going to enjoy this, and in a weird way yet again in conjunction with the first they've created what looks like yet another deconstruction film, but this one aimed at the deconstructing the fans. So inadvertantly, they've created another movie that has a deep meta subtext, but this time has a high gloss "eff it all" attitude layer thrown on top just to have fun.

Plus on top of it all, they aren't rebooting, and they are pushing the story forward. This is what I want from hollywood! Ghost Rider though is unique unlike Blade. When the time comes that they want to replace Nic Cage, they can just do a Danny Ketch story instead, as opposed to Blade. With Blade, there only is one blade, so that switch of actors can cause some to pause or disregard it like many did the Blade tv series.

I'm looking forward to the new movie. I don't really have a problem with Cage or the first GR film, and the trailer looked like fun.

looks good to me. i really enjoyed the first one though. i dont know why people knock it so much. the action was col. the graphics were extremely well done. just enjoy it for what it is. maybe its nick cage that bugs people. shame there no eva mendez in this one though.

bring on the marvel universe scale movie series!

GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE Screens At "Butt-Numb-A-Thon"; First Impressions Not Good

Not looking good so far... I'd probably like it for mindless violence 'n' shit.

the first ghost rider movie, the character was really off based on the earliest comics. Plus, i hated the villians in the film. so wonky.

Just got around to watching it out of curiosity. It looks alright but not much to go off of. Wonder if we'll get any toys to tie in.
