Yeah, I find it odd that I don't hear the commentary as well.

The first show I attended as an adult I was like, "There's something missing, what is it?", as a kid I didn't notice as much I was too busy like "Holy crap Hulk Hogan!!" once that went away it was neat to see the show and then go home and watch a replay or recording I made to see what I missed or how close I was at calling my own matches

Not a big fan of modern pro-wrestling, but used to love it during the late 80s up until around the early 2000s. Watched a lot of WWF and WCW as well as a lot of Japan stuff like New Japan, All Japan and Michinoku Pro. WCW did a lot of foreign exchange with Japan and Mexico so it was cool to see them over here mixing it up with Sting, Rick Rude, Steve Austin and the lot. I still play a game called Fire Pro Wrestling Returns on my PS2. Me and my childhood friend play it religiously. I got hooked on it when I played Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium on the Super Nintendo. It was crazy for a SNES game and had like 100 real wrestlers and hundreds of moves.

On the subject of wrestling live vs wrestling on TV, I've been taking my kids down to the local VFW whenever wrestling comes to parts unknown and even though many of the performers are relative unknowns, I find the proximity to the ring and access to the Superstars to be superior.
No lie, last time we went Tony Atlas came out of no where and sat down right next to my son and started flexing his pecks! I also know where they go to eat after the show and one time ended up talking to both Iron Sheik and Shelton Benjamin.

^My cousin (more like a brother, long story for another time) and I did that after a RAW one night. Most of the mid card guys went to a Denny's down the street from the arena, they love that shit lol, and we sat down and talked to Elijah Burke. Most down to earth dude, he was really cool about it. My bro was marking out hard lol.

Yeah, there's this Asian place on the highway where I live that they all hit up.
They even have their photos all over the wall, its pretty bad ass. I've met more wrestlers at a CVS in town I used to work at though. I gave Matt Hardy directions to another CVS with a 24 hour pharmacy and he shook my hand afterwards, and another time I had to explain to RVD about how we took our self tanner end cap down.

Oh yeah dude, he was all done when I did, and when I was done there was this awkward silence, and then he stuck out his hand, and was all like, "I like what you did back there", because I busted out this huge line of customers lickity split so I could go outside and give him directions.

Honestly? They have done a lot that annoyed me and a lot that makes no sense to me but they do many things I love.
Good -Jeff Hardy -Fortune -there knockout division>WWEs Diva Division -ink inc -mexican america -beer money -... screw it there tag division is better then WWEs Bad -I think WWE needs to give the middle aged guys a break so TNA REALLY needs to put its seniors down -Somoa Joe may be the worst wrestler I have ever seen in my life. -there low card cant hold my attention at all. -thus far its been a bit predictable. |

The only thing that was a little strange at first was not hearing the commentary and the urge to watch the huge screens around the top of the ring and the entrance way lol. The first show I can remember I saw Andre, Hulk, Jake the Snake and Ultimate Warrior...damn I feel old.

Then you or at least your brother would love TNA, Burke is now the POPE DeAngelo Dinero and he has had a handful of good matches since his time there. were as when he was in wwe i could not stand to watch any of his matches even when he wrestled someone good like CM Punk
