Hasbro has recently uploaded some shots to their site of new, up-coming Class-II Vintage Collection vehicles from Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Check out the awesome:

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the vintage-style packaging for the prequels when they first announced that Ep I, II and III figures were coming out on vintage-style cards but the concept has really grown on me. For me personally it really helps tie my collection together. Right now I have everything displayed by film with the vintage-style packaging lining the backs of the shelves. So having all vintage-style artwork on display for all six movies really gives the collection a consistent look throughout. That and since I grew up in the late-70s and early 80s I still really enjoy seeing anything on the shelves that has that vintage look and feel to it.

This just seems wrong to me. I get that it's cool, but all SW has been is the same un-retooled toy, in different packaging. Yet for some reason, the fanboys must have it! The vintage design set forth by Kenner should only be OT vehicles. Just my opinion.

Are they going to charge 25% more for items that are already on the shelf like they do with the figures? All three of these are still on shelves around here.

Anyone know which figures are included? I'm sure each one would have at least one figure to pilot the vehicles.

They don't include any pilots/drivers.

I want to see episode I, II & III vehicles in vintage packaging. I try to imagine what it would have been like if the movies came out in the proper order.

When I was little I was always asking my parents WTF happened to episode I, II & III? Where were they? Why did they take me to see part IV before the 1st 3?

They were released in proper order. Then Lucas changed his mind saying it was ALWAYS meant to be I through VI. It was Star Wars, Empire, and then Jedi. Then there were going to be 9 movies and then just 6. Bullshit on Lucas. Anyway, these are a pass. Don't want to pay extra because it has a "vintage" box. Ooooooo.
