Well, consider that (here) a single carded MU is $8.00, two for $18 is about normal- they stick you for an extra buck or two for the crappy reprint comic.

Same here. I'm starting to loose faith in the Cap line considering how much freaking Thor stuff is out there. I've only seen a few Cap figures (mainly Ultimate Cap and WWII Cap) and none of them have been from Wave 2.

I hear you, brother. I'm even further South than you and no luck with Cap wave 2, although someone around me did find them at a Walmart, but it's too far away.

But the problem Jason is that they repack figures into these 2 packs that most of us already have.
I bought both packs for sabretooth and jean grey but I already have a bunch of wolverines and cyclops.
Paying 18 bucks for basically one figure is a hard pill to swallow and I personally don't care about the comics at all.

For Cap wave 2, TRU is putting out small island displays, some have wave 2. Only seen wave 2 at 1 tru and 1 walmart, no villains.

Got these Comic Packs at TRU today, the other stuff was Walmart. First Class was $18, Taskmaster was reg TRU price. I find a good amount of stuff at TRU, so I'm ok with them. I really wanted a Sabretooth so a few more $ wasn't stopping me. And I save a $1 on Shockwave by getting him at Walmart

I am so sorry that I passed on that Deadpool/Taskmaster 2 pack last week and picked up DOTM Shockwave instead.

The only fig out of the bunch that I want is Sabertooth but with a 100% rehashed Wolvie - super lame Hasbro. I'm on the fence with both packs, really not sure and thus, I'll likely skip.

TRU's are stocking first class packs pretty well it seems. And I think cap wave 2 will hit when the movie gets closer if not before. We're letting our patience kill us again and feeding potential scalpers! ;P

Doesn't make sense. First Class packs shouldn't cost more than the regular comic packs, they don't even use direct designs from the movie so the likeness/royalty stuff is out the window

The best draw to the new XMFC Wolvie/Sabre 2pk is the superior paint jobs. Even though the XMO versions were fair, the better paint on the 2pks edges out it's superiority.

I don't like how they didn't use the short haired Sabretooth headsculpt, though. The short hair is so much better for the character IMO. It's weak how the 1st X-Men movie had so many people thinking Victor was a dumb wild animal as opposed to a calculating businessman. The same people actually complained about Liev Schreiber's portrayal of the character years later. Sigh. I was sick with it.

I honestly thought Schreiber as Sabretooth was one of the better parts of the Wolverine movie.

In the comics that varies so wildly they had to imply that Mr. Sinister had possibly made some imperfect clones- to explain why sabertoot's first DECADE or stories have him as fairly dumb, animalistic and with no healing factor whatsoever.
Hell, the Black Cat handily beat his ass.
In his very first appearanace, Iron Fist beats him with one kick to the chest!

Later, they'd retcon him into being this big Wolverine menace with decades of backstory and screw up contunity very badly,

Yeah, the early appearances of a lot of characters go against their later, more fleshed-out personas. That's something that'll probably always be. I had no idea about these Mr. Sinister clones though. Sounds dreadful. Marvel cloning always turns out bad though...

Yeah...it was only hinted at because the other Marauders that have died have been replaced with clones (Riptide, Prism, Blockbuster, etc.).

Well the XMO version of sabretooth was way better since sabretooth is a coniving SOB & the 2 packs will both be mine sometime cause I want that sabretooth & I'll just buy the brown costumed wolverine that the pics said would come with Sabretooth so I can have one worthy of the quality put into Sabretooth since the other ones looks like an angry wannabe with A CLAW ON EACH HAND SINCE THEY AREN'T SEPARATE ENOUGH TO BE COUNTED AS 3 PER HAND

once again Hasbro u screw us in the ass

Has anyone checked the MSRP for them?

This could be a case of retailer markup, and not hasbro intending them to charge more.

Or it could be a sign of things to come with price-hikes, or even just the small royalty fee of using first class name on the packaging.
