You guys are far too harsh- my roommmate is a big DC fan and he just weeps at those terrible figures.
At most they make nice MU scale teenagers- Black Lightening to Patriot, Captain Atom to Wiccan or Speed (they're supposed to be twins anyway).
And if you think Jean has a pin head, you should see Power Girl! That head might fork for Valeria Richards!

Worst of all, at TRS here in Fort Lauderdale, the DCU figs (with no accessories!) cost more than MU ($8.99!).

Its a damn shame that the 3 3/4" DC figures are crap. At the same time though, it isn't. It just makes it easier to buy Marvel Universe without any 2nd thoughts.

Yeah- and it's always great to see some of the fanatstic DC figures custom made from MU figs- Figure Realm has an amazing Batman someone did.

I always check figure realm. A LOT of talented people on there. I always go there for hints and tips for base figures and parts to -attempt- to make my own. :P

I don't know if I will be able to pull the trigger to buy Wolverine and Saberooth...I mean just Sabertooth. 18.99 CAD is kinda steep when I only want one character...maybe EvilBay will have something good...

Well I don't know you, and this is the internet. Yeah, $21 is a little ridiculous, but if everything down there is more expensive, then I'd imagine it's all relative and the Comic Packs were in the $18 range to begin with.

On the back of the card the Wolverine figure pictured looks to be the version from the Cap/Wolverine Comic Pack (or close to it) instead of the XMO version.

Looks like crap. Whats going on with Hasbro/Marvel? First these two comic packs are direct repaints, then the Giant Sized X-men 6 pack is $37.99(TRU) to $49.50(Disney Store) and its just retooled repaints of figures previously released and then the upcoming Captain America Marvel Universe Comic Packs are direct repaints. Damn, they must really like giving retailers things that will make them want to cancel the line due to pegwarming.

I hear you guys on the repaints, but you have to remember that not everyone has been collecting for as long as you. If you weren't collecting a couple of years ago then this would be your first chance at getting these figures. Repaints suck if you have the figures, but if you don't... not so much.
