Hobby Link Japan has all sorts of stands that allow your figures to fly far above the crowd- pretty cheap with high quality too- search their site for "flying bases" or "doll stands"

Tamashii stands work but they get kinda pricey.

Just got the XMFC 2pks. The paint apps on the faces are deplorable. Went through the whole case and found 1 each that were barely acceptable. Love this Wolverine though.

I'm seriously miffed at Hasbro for not making some REAL figures from First Class after seeing it a few nights ago. I'd have loved to get a Beast (blue and furry), Emma, Magneto (X-Men Uniform with removable helmet and the outfit from the end of the movie), Shaw (again with removable helmet), Havok, and Banshee. Total bummer and missed opportunity if you ask me. They could have at least thrown them into the MU line.

Its interesting that they didn't considering how popular the movie seems to be...

Movies a re-boot I tell you! Has to be ! :P. It really is a bummer, Magneto at the end of the movie would be an epic figure...rare too I bet so come to think of it, not like I would ever get it :P

But there was no way for Hasbro (or the studio) to know that, especially considering how X3 and XMO:W were both panned by critics and fans. There are still fans who are up in arms about First Class, even after the positive reviews.

Also, consider the fact that Hasbro had four movies to choose from, in terms of potential toy lines, and that all four movies were scheduled to drop within a few months of each other.

And the normal turn-around for a toy line is about 1.5 to 2 years, so it's quite reasonable to assume that Hasbro neither had the time nor the resources to do a proper toy line for First Class, in addition to the other three lines. Even Thor's line is limited compared to his Avengers teammates.

I definitely want a January Jones figure, but that's been a want since before this film, lol.

I wanted to by the Cyclops/Jean Grey pack as I do like those costumes, but I held off because of the price. For $17.99 at TRU, it's not too bad considering the price of single figures these days, but seeing how I bought a Wolverine/Silver Samurai for $14.97 at Wal-Mart that same weekend, I just couldn't pull the trigger.

Silver Samurai is a fantastic figure, and though the Wolverine is kind of simplistic, I've wanted a figure in that suit since I was a kid and saw it in the comics.

Hi, guys. These comic packs just hit Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. However, they DO NOT come packed with a comic. And they seem to have been brought in directly by Toys Li Fung, the company that manages TRU in Malaysia and Asia. Comic packs are priced between RM54.90 and RM59.90 but these Cyclops/Marvel Girl and Wolverine/Sabretooth CPs are priced at RM99.95! And I repeat, they come without comic books! Counterfeit, I say!

1 word Minimates. I'm betting that's why there were so many minimates of the characters you just mentioned.

Anyways, these first class comic packs pretty much suck, the cyclops - marvel girl pack is probably the worst 2-pk ever released; completely peg warming at all TRUs in my area, easy pass.

Same here...they need to drop the price on those...but they never do.

But yes they turned Charles, Emma, Banshee, Sebastian and Beast into Minimates instead. Very sad indeed.

I agree, however, I would get it if it was on clearance because I need that Marvel Girl for X - Factor costume.

Right on - I`d definitely buy it if it was on clearance to make customs as well, like x-force Psylocke!

^ The TRUs in Singapore also received these comic-less 2 packs and they're not cheap either.
