Yamato 1/48 VF-1 VS v2 1/60 VF-1

Hey, does anyone have the 1/48 Low Viz II & Woodland camo GPS-1 armor for the 1/48? If so, can the hands from that, stay on in fighter mode, like the TV hands can?

I have the Woodland Camo armor and from the looks of it the hands will be too big to squeeze into fighter mode.

Thanks for the clarification. The sale for it is very tempting, until I realized that shipping was almost as much as the set!
