The Official NECA Street Fighter IV thread

didnt find one other than an old news thread so thought id start a fan thread for the whol series, anyone else loving this line? I passed them up forever, noticing they were kinda cool but never bought them. Then when i couldnt find anymore 'cept one or two of the alt. colors i got some, and HOLY CRAP are these things NICE! so far have survival mode Ken and RYU, with regular lil ol (more like huge legs) Chun Li. hah shes awesome too, hope they make some more molds, less color alts.

They are high on Awesomeness.i have ryu,ken,chun li,akuma,guile,alt guile and crimson viper but i hate her so i pulled off her ponytail and broke her goggles in half.lol dont report me.

Great figures but unfortunately the latest wave is the last, as our admins here found out at Toy Fair that the line is done with no more figures past the repaint wave.

Yeah I was PISSED when I found out man! I mean we got SUPER SF coming soon! I wanted an Adon figure, Ibuki, SAGAT...FREAKING SAGAT MAN one of the top tiers WTH?!!!!! I also wanted Dan and Guy!

Man NECA makes GREAT stuff but in limited quantities...the TMNT line is dormant, Ninja Gaiden II only got 1 figure with no villain(s) to fight, et al. The only game line with long legs seemingly is the Bioshock line(which looks awesome).

Wow that's terrible didn't know they cancelled these. Makes me wish I wouldn't have bought any. Sucks having such a small portion of the roster. Same for the RE5 figures.. can't believe they never made a Weaker figure.

i was kind of afraid of that, this line looked SO GOOD TOO!! i just ordered the rest of them and should soon have them all.

ugh sorry to bump my own dead thread but i just got the last of my figs in the mail and watched Return of the Dragon, where the hell is my Fei Long?! damnit, so many awesome figs to be made, this is TB ML allover again...hah soon as i start to like something it gets killed :*(

i think its bull that they ended this line but are continuing to make the resident evil inaction figures

I am VERY DISAPPOINT now that the repaint wave out at TRU is the last wave. LOTS of potential in this line. I think if they made Sagat, he would have been a masterpiece. Plus Super will be out in a few months and that's even more figures to make.

hmm theres a super version coming out? MAYBE (and thats a big maybe) theyll continue where they left off there. i like this line so much i wish theyd make Marvel figs for Marvel VS Capcom to go along with them, that would be sex. But of course id be set if they just continue making SF figs. Its crap theyre not only making Resident Evil figs but all those Gears Of War and horror and other statues theyre releasing that warm shelves...but not these that are mostly sold out besides the repaints.

Super comes out in late April or May but NECA did tell DESTRO and Bacala that the line is basically done for them. I do hope they renew interest in making figures for Super but I think it's over.

i was going to mix these guys in with my ML but now i think im just going to have to assemble the cast of MVL vs Capcom, i might even replace my Green Lantern shelf next to my desk with it heh. UGH i rly dont want to start doing customs but i might have to, Guile looks like he might make a decent cap repaint with new head...hmmm. I just done see HOW they didnt atleast do Bison or Vega or a couple more.

Yep. NECA dropped the ball on another line--again. Just like they did with TMNT.

SOTA would have killed to release Street Fighter figures when actual new games are coming out. Old SOTA released 20 figures while Street Fighter was dead and buried.

Oh it's not just TMNT IMHO man, Ninja Gaiden too; Hayabusa had no one to fight! Maybe it's just me, but I kept crossing my fingers for NES based Ninja Gaiden figures! JAQUIO anyone? NES STYLE HAYABUSA? Hell you could make variants in translucent red and have them be the spirit ninja powerups.

So much lost potential; made worse by the fact that we know NECA is capable of making kick ass figures..they just make them with limited lineups/selection. Also, I miss SOTA but I did hear that quality towards the end with round 4 and Revolutions was skeptical. Jerry from SOTA deserves a lot of praise though, for truly working to deliver everything that suited fan's desires.
