I guess it depends on when you saw it. I dunno, I'm also a sucker for treasure-hunting movies and adventure. It's why I love Uncharted so much.

OG Blade Runner is a movie I saw once and never again, haha. Didn't really click with me. Although seeing the new one made me appreciate the old one more. I really really disliked the new one. I at least respect the old one for the stunning world it created.

Haha yeah Goonies is without a doubt a classic! It’s one of the best treasure films out there only to be out done by Indiana Jones imo. Goonies is like Stand by me. It’s so rewatch able. But to Blade runner yeah the newest one is pretty good but definitely nothing compared to the original that’s a masterpiece if you ask me.

What's your favorite Jones film? Mine is Last Crusade. Master-class treasure film.

Man seriously? That’s easily my favorite. Vogel is a pretty badass “villain” and they literally ride off into the sunset haha perfect film. The first one is also great in its own right. While on the subject I’m hoping from that new Indiana film that’s supposed to be coming out. I hope Hasbro (or whom ever has the rights) produces some awesome Figures. I need them in my life haha. I’d even take how unlikely considering our political landscape some German soldiers to go with him.

It's actually pretty strange how few Jones figures we've gotten. The only ones that come to mind are some crappy 3.75 figures for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and an okay but overpriced 6 inch figure at Disneyland.

Just got back from seeing Ant-Man and the Wasp, really enjoyed it, one of my favourite MCU films now. Hannah John-Man in particular was amazing, if Marvel don't bring her back as a recurring character they have lost their minds.

Last movie I watched was Sausage Party a few days ago... Terribly unfunny movie. My bro and his wife talked up how funny it was... so disappointing.

Death of Superman and it was a damn solid adaptation of the comic.

I honestly have a feeling we'll never see her again which sucks.

I straight up boycotted that movie.

If I saw a commercial for it, I would've been in the same boat. I really don't know how or why it was so bad. You would think between writers, directors, producers, script supervisors, actors, etc... someone would've said. Hey this isn't too great...

Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Either you like these movies or you don't. I've only seen 1, 3 and 5 before this one and they were entertaining. This one is, too. Though, it seems more to be a collection of chase sequences than even previous films. The final one stretches credibility even for these movies.

Solid 7/10.

Ant-Man and the Wasp
I appreciated that the stakes were lower in this movie, despite the movie trailer "She could destroy the world!" line...was that even in the film? Though that leaves the movie lacking in terms of solid villainy, Ghost is interesting but too sympathetic. Maybe there's too much of Scott's pals...there's a line where supporting comic relief in an already more humorous super hero movie get to be too much. But it was thoroughly entertaining and the little girl wins a prize for being likeable and not a bad kid actress.

6/10, maybe better. I dunno. I get jaded from seeing all these comic book movies.

There's been several Indiana jones figure lines going back to the first movie. They never seem to sell very well ( I'm guessing not toyetic enough) so none of the lines ever lasted very long.

Hmm interesting. I thought her performance in ready player one wasn't very good at all.

In the early 80's, Kenner Indiana Jones figures were all over Toys R Us, but if you wanted the basic Jones figure himself, you were SOL. I never saw him or Marion in stores. The rest were clearance aisle fodder for years afterwards.

The line didn't debut with the movie, it was like a year after, I think.

The LJN Temple of Doom line was like 4 figures and bad.

The other thing too was that it was in development for many years so I don't know how it turned out like that. I remember going on Seth Rogen and James Franco's wikipedia pages for many years and would always see that movie in their filmography as "in development". Yeah, I don't know, those two tend to make those kind of movies anyways. The only team-up movie with them I've ever gotten enjoyment out of was Pineapple Express. Some people like this shit though for whatever reason. Some girl at my college hated superhero movies but loved Seth Rogen's movies and even bought a plushie of the main sausage from Sausage Party...

But yeah, this movie was bad though and I think those two should just stop. James in particular is capable of so much more, he had a career making serious films initially and was quite good at it, he should stick with that.

I think Kenner had managed to get the 12 inch Indy figure out by Christmas of '81 and that's only because it was pretty much a blatant reuse of the 12 inch Han Solo figure.
And yeah I remember the Toht figure peg warmed well into the 80s lol.

O, Brother Where Art Thou?

Never saw it all before, just a few bits. Decent enough. I think the Coen Bros are somewhat overrated, though. And the leads not singing their songs (except one) was obvious and distracting.

Interesting, I did not know that there was singing in that movie. I definitely think the Coen brothers are overrated. The only film of theirs I enjoyed throughout was A Serious Man. The rest, I started off liking before some weird plot decisions were made and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Rewatched X-MEN: APOCALYPSE on FX.

Why this is so over-hated, I'll never know. Sure, it's not perfect. The weapon x part felt like a shoehorn, as Stryker plays no real role after that. And there's more characters that it has time to explore. But if this had come out on the early 2000's, everyone would've loved it.

I love that movie, it's actually my favorite. I loved the Weapon X sequence. I don't get why everyone hated it. But it's whatevs I guess. I don't talk about it much, just like I don't talk about how I like The Phantom Menace. Too much hate

I didn't hate it, but it felt pretty bland and generic, at least by this point. DoFP and X2 are still my favorites. Liked First Class a lot, too. I used to prefer the X-movies when the MCU was starting to get underway, but my tastes have shifted or something, and I'm finding myself more drawn to the way the MCU movies deftly switch between tones, in a way that the extremely self-serious X-movies don't, or don't do as often.

When I think about why I like X2 and DoFP, it's because of those small, clever, human moments that the MCU does well--the Quicksilver/Magneto breakout scene, the opening act of X2 in the mansion with Wolverine and the kids, and so on.

Anyway, recently filled out the rest of our MCU Blu-ray/4K collection, and wife and I are getting a head start on re-watching every single flick before Avengers 4. So technically, the last movie I saw was Iron Man. It's still the best Iron Man. Holds up extremely well.

Venom- I enjoyed it, I don't think it deserves as much hate as it's getting. I enjoyed the comedy greatly. But it's best-watched when viewed with a "this is a standalone elseworlds version of Venom" filter on. That's how I enjoyed it. I think it's more fun than Age of Ultron or Thor Ragnarok to watch. I would probably give it a 6/10. Flawed fun.

I enjoyed it but after it ended I was like "what the hell did I just watch?" Yes, even adding in AvP films, it is probably the worst. (Though AvpR is close because it's so dark that it's unwatchable on television).

I'm relieved to know we'll all be dead in two generations. That's sort of a minor spoiler, but the junk science in the film was laughable.
