Just saw the last Spider-Man movie and it was fine and all but it mainly just reminded me how much better the other movies are.

Watched Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. The characters and plot were half-baked. Scarlett Witch in particular was poorly written she kills people without remorse out of nowhere. However, Sam Raimi's directing style and the unique sequences like the music fight made it a fun watch.

Happy 40th Birthday to TRON!

For the longest time TRON was my fav movie... until I watched the Professional... which was later dethroned by Collateral, then Tron Legacy and then Drive.

The Summit of the Gods is one of the best movies I have ever seen... ever... just an absolutely amazing experience IMO.

My family went to see the DC League of Super-Pets, and I would say it was "ok" overall. We hadn't been to an actual movie theater since the start of the pandemic, we've gotten so used to streaming at home, so it was more just to take a little nostalgia trip back to the theater.

Based on your feedback, my wife and I decided to watch it this morning. Unbelievable movie, one of the most powerful stories I've ever seen, not to mention the breathtaking visuals. Can't thank you enough for putting on my radar.

Really disappointed in Rings of Power... I mean it looks gorgeous, but is kinda boring. House of the Dragon is great though... was hooked from the first 5 mins... GOT is back.

No surprise there. The material(silmarillion/lost chapters) these are based on is as dull as can be.

Oh wow... I missed this comment... just curious if you watched the French language version with subs or the English dub. And yah... I don't think too many people even know about this movie... I only did because I pretty much watch any documentary or movie that has to do with mountain climbing.

We watched the French language version with subtitles, again, an amazing movie. I like a lot of mountain climbing videos as well, I think I've watched every Everest and K2 one out there (though there's a lot more than those big two of course).

Watched Netflix all quiet on the western front. Nice score, beautiful set pieces. Some characters didn't get enough development.

Black Adam was so dope.

I also rewatched Shazam with a friend recently. Both are definitely top 3 DCEU movies for me.

Just watched (and highly enjoyed) Black Adam.

Problem is it left me pretty pissed since they're about to reboot everything so now I'll never get Adam vs Superman. Thanks so much Warner. Super happy about that decision.

Word, I relate to that^

Avatar 2. Was really a lot better than I was expecting. Don't know if I like it quite as much as the first but it was still really good. James Cameron is to be admired for making such an original world.

Quantumania. Pretty good and a lot better than I was expecting. Kang was great. Still not a fan of the new Cassie actress though. The Endgame one was golden.

Got around to watching Love and Thunder and I now have a new least favorite MCU movie. It's so sad seeing what they've done to Thor.

Not a movie but I watched Moon Knight and enjoyed it a lot. I do agree it should have just been a movie though.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.

Wanted to love it, the trailers got me quite excited for it. Thankfully I did love it. Incredibly fun, genuinely funny, and actually felt like a D&D film made by people who know and love it rather than one made by people trying to cash in.

8/10

Saw the Super Mario Bros. Movie last weekend, it was killer. Clearly made with extensive love and knowledge of the actual video games. SO many classic game references, this was the most fun I've had with a new movie in a long time.

I have to agree. So far it's my second favorite movie of the year. It really wowed me. Hope we get a Luigi's Mansion spinoff.

I also saw D&D and was really bored with it.
