King Arthur (the one by Guy Ritchie) - 8/10

I liked it. It was fun and it was different. The scenes where Arthur used Excalibur were badass.

Valerian—8/10

Not amazing, but I enjoyed it and don't get why it got a lot of hate. Sad we probably won't get a sequel.

Ghost In the shell - 8/10 by my Avatar alone you should know I'd like the movie. But in all honesty it was actually a Excellent movie. "The Whitewashing" shit is what killed the Possibly of a sequel.

That shit was legit though, the character in the animated movie was asian. Asians don't get enough roles as it is.

Fucking amazing film, a must watch. Joel Edgerton, Tom Hardy, and Nick Nolte were all brilliant.

Yeah I see where you're coming from but they change Characters Races all the time. Like Karl Mondo, Valkyrie, The Ancient One, Deadshot, and Hell look at the Entire Arrowverse lol. Jimmy Olson Is Bigger then Superman. Don't get me Wrong I am not complaining I have no problem with their Races hell I love each and Everyone of these shows or Movies and the Characters in them well maybe not Suicide squad as much but Just saying I don't get the HUGE deal for this one movie. People don't get these are FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. I tired of every damn thing in this world having to deal with Someone's Race it's bullshit. The Race of the character should have nothing to do why you like them or not.

Sometimes it works for characters like Deadshot who were too similar to another character already, but changing race is never a good idea, especially if the part was originally for a minority.

The idea of race sucks, but it's inescapable.

The Thing-8/10

One of my favorite movies, it's pretty brilliant. Still waiting for John to make the sequel.

Ain't no improving on the JC version of The Thing imho. We just found this Japanese poster for it while we were moving and put it up immediately. I was literally just toying with the idea of getting all the old McFarlane and SOTA figures for a li'l display within the past couple hours.

Gone Baby Gone 7.5/10

Good movie, not perfect. Certain plot points left me disappointed, but overall it was good. Depressing as hell though...will probably make you have a grimmer view of humanity.

The Orphanage- 7.5/10

Really was impressed by the twist, but if you take that away I feel the movie's not much. Pretty by-the-numbers with hammy acting and a plot I've been through one too many times.

Stretch-8/10

I've had this in my queue on Netflix for over a year at least and finally got around to watching it. It was a ton of fun with some great performances. The story behind Chris Pine being in it is pretty interesting.

Thor Ragnarok. 10/10

Absolutely loved Thor Ragnarok. Great performances by all, and bringing in Cate Blanchett to play Hela was a brilliant choice. She stole every scene she was in and is in my opinion easily the best villain the MCU has produced so far.
It's definitely my favourite MCU movie now alongside Winter Soldier, I really hope Marvel are smart enough to get Taika Watiti back for any future Thor films.

Thor Ragnarok-5/10

Really disappointing and basically ignored what Age of Ultron set up. The jokes were the cringiest I've seen in the MCU, hated the colors and costume designs, just everything was bad. Character development was minimal, Hulk's story was just played for laughs....no info on the last infinity stone....and what happened to certain characters...ugh.

Hela was forgettable and cheesy, which really disappointed me since I bought an action figure of her and everything and really wanted her to be great.

Story in general was sacrificed for bad jokes. This is my least favorite Thor film and once of my least favorite MCU movies. I'll be perfectly content to never watch it again.

Fargo-5/10 Tonally inconsistent, not very funny. Story doesn't really go anywhere. Gonna see if I like the TV show any better. Massively overrated movie.

Jigsaw-7/10 I might be a bit nice giving this a 7. Might deserve more of a 6.5. I love the first 3 Saw movies. The four that followed....not so much. I will say that this movie is probably the best since the original 3, but it is still nowhere near being in their league.

A couple things to say:
1. The look and feel of this movie is very different to the other 7 which had a pretty consistent visual look. Everything is very spotless and clean looking, perhaps matching the look of low-budget movies of this decade. But it's glaring since the last 7 were very dirty and grungey. The other thing is that there are a LOT of exterior shots in this, something that the originals never did which led to their style which I quite frankly loved. It gave mystery to where you were exactly. This movie demystifies that and it doesn't feel like Saw sometimes.
2. The twists are a mixed bag in this. There are a series of them. Without spoiling, the first one makes you think something specific is happening. And I personally loved the twist no matter how ridiculous. But then another twist occurs which essentially erases the first, and it ticked me off.

I don't really know where they will go with the series after this one. It just feels like it has run its course, and with each new installment since Jigsaw's death....more inconsistencies in the narrative arise and it gets a little more ridiculous every time with how many plot details they keep adding that supposedly happened before the first Saw movie. If you watched the first Saw, you'll know that it was a pretty tight narrative and gave us a concise view of what Jigsaw had been up to before the Bathroom game. Each movie since Saw 3 muddles that. This movie feels very standalone which can be enjoyable at times but in the context of a franchise that has been dormant for 7 years, it's not good.

Burn After Reading-6/10

Like Fargo it starts off strong before unnecessary deaths take place and the story gets derailed.

Brad Pitt was the best part of the movie.

Dawn of the Dead (original)—3/10

Couldn't even get through it. Acting is terrible, pacing is terrible. There is no story. Terrible movie and not really much of a follow-up either.

3 points for zombies in a mall and starting that trend.

Awwww are you KIDDING ME? I can no longer trust you for anything. You are dead to me opinion wise. Unless you wrote this on your period or something. I mean seriously, 3 out of 10?!? And the comments you wrote? I understand there's some degree of subjectivity, but DotD has a rep for a solid reason.

...And this coming from someone who thinks Casablanca and Citizen Kane are overblown pieces of shit, so YMMV.
