I snagged some Hazard Vipers off eBay and they arrived today.
They are a lot cooler than the Volcano Vipers (pun intended). I will display them next to my Eco Warriors Septic Tank. |

Hazard Viper needs a 3 3/4" Toxic Crusader figure to beat the crap of.

I have to take a moment to rave about the Steel Brigade figure. I found surprisingly found three or four of these at my local Fred Meyers, first single-carded 30th stuff I've seen. I'd been dying to get at least a couple of these for display and a mod, so I bought two of them.
I can't stop playing with the one I opened. I dare say that it has refreshed my love for GI Joes, especially in the modern line. I'm not sure exactly which part of the figure makes me happiest, though it's probably the head sculpt, which is to any observant fan the same sculpt as the PoC Beachhead(my favorite GI Joe figure EVER). That sculpt is one of the best Hasbro's put out, and seeing it on a 10/10 figure like Steel makes it even better. The articulation, the accessories, and the colors make it really really badass to me, especially since I've been in love with the idea of the mail away Steel Brigade since I learned of it, and have always been disappointed that the promotion ended before I was even born(I think). *Whew* Now I'm gonna pose him a little bit more. |

Seeing pictures at the Rabbit Haul kind of makes me want to get one. So far I only bought Hazard Viper from the 30th collection. The second wave is an easy pass for me.

So glad that lame Steel Brigade 5 pack was canceled, they look like pansies compared to the POC/30th SB!

Great pictures guys, I'm really starting to like some of the modern Joe figures... The Hazard Viper in particular looks fantastic, might end up picking that one up!

Tons of info, pics and reviews over at hisstank for the GI Joe fans that aren't familiar with that site. I'm now tempted to take some pics tonight.

I have yet to find or get a Hazard Viper. My local WM and Target have no new Joes.
