I like the look of it, even if it's a little busy. The addition of a firing cannon on the arm is a definitely cool touch, hearkening back to older SOC and older toys who had firing fists.
I also like the tank mode, even if it's not "show" accurate. Then again, this toy isn't about being "show accurate", it's about being ... toy accurate ... to a different toy. Wild, I know. A few more pics can be found at the official Tamashii site. There's a Japanese language review of the toy here: Gear-Gear: RESPECT FOR VOLTES ... It compares the original release to the new one. In my homeland Voltes V is a beloved mecha. I hope to one day see a subbed version. The toy looks awesome, look at all that brilliant engineering Bandai implemented!
