Found these on toywiz.com
http://www.toywiz.com/bbcoacfi1.html Loose MU figures, some aren't that great, but some aren't bad such as Herbie from F4 for $6, the new hulk from the Avenger's box set for $8, they basically broke up the F4 and Avenger sets... I love the selection the site has but come on some of the pricing is beyond scalper like $130 for a vision figure!? $80 for blade?, just doesn't make sence. Figured this may help some ppl out who only wanted 1 of the figures. |

Watch out for Toywiz, man.
In the same section where they list all heir loose figs, they listed Firestar (though that fig had no pic, like the others). I said "hell yeah!, now I can make Spitfire and complete my Invaders team without having to buy yet another Spiderman!" They sent me the impossibly shitty Firestar send away from like 20 years ago- the one with the old Fantastic Four Medusa mold- just repainted. Zero articulation, the head does not move, one leg is a quarter inc shorter tahn the other so she cant even stand, and it's five inches tall. Cost me $17 after shipping. Now consider that they had this turd in with ONLY MU 3.75" figures and you'll see the kind of scammers these scumbags really are. Buyer beware, is all I'm saying. EDIT: it's now listed as "Marvel Toyfare exclusive Firestar" (with a picture this time showing her awful frankenstein arms) and is sold out- I wonder how many other saps bought this thing- and again, it's in with all MU 3.75" figures. Hey, looks at the "awesome deal" on Sue- $21! You can get the whole set for $25! Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 07-24-2011 at 12:07 AM.. |

I only wanted that human torch cause he's the only FF i don't have. I but damn them if i'm paying over 25 for ONE figure. Pretty much why i cant afford Cable or Thanos or any other rare fig.

Those prices are okay for loose 3pk figs.
But the savvy shopper could do a lot better just buying multiple packs and trading whatever he doesn't want.

Yea I wouldn't buy from there. You can find a lot of great deals on loose figures here on toyark or a few other forums. Even eBay I'd choose before toywiz.

Hi Jason, I work with ToyWiz.com. I'm really sorry you had such a bad experience, but I'd like to try to fix the situation. Any chance you could give me an order number so I can trace this down and set things aright? We're not scammers, but I'll admit we can make mistakes. And though we work hard to try to keep items and descriptions accurate, when something goes wrong, we try to fix it. I think I can help with this problem, and I'd certainly like to try.
Thanks, Bebs |

I know right. I have ordered 1 item from Toywiz in the past 2 years, only because they got it before BBTS, and that I had a coupon.

It's very cool to see you respond. That's some + customer service points, but if you really want to win anyone over.. you could start by cutting your prices in half.. then with shipping they would be closer to what every other major toy store online offers. I'm just saying.. I've spent hundreds on every toy site except yours.. and that's the exact reason. :x

I figure customer feedback, especially those of avid collectors like us, is something they'd like to know.

Of course we do! I'm actually online all the time for questions and comments. I pass those along to the management and owner.

That's great because I ordered once from the site & I felt like the prices were outrageous & customers are more drawn to fair prices. At least we are seeing the #1 rule in marketing being put to use here (listening to what the people want)

I just wanted to check in with you all again. I've PM'ed the poster above who had a problem to try to get that fixed because we really do want to do a good job and to offer the best customer service. If you ever have problems with an order, please let us know!

Yes she did- which was very cool of her, thanks!
I've lng since scrapped that figure though- I kept the hair to make a custom and tossed the body (man, that buck is awful!). This issue aside, please pass along that the Toywiz pricing for very common figures is very high- worse in many cases than the ebay scalpers! I understand you guys are a business and all but some of what you're asking for is laughably unrealistic. You guys want $150 for a color vision- twice what the highest asking price is on ebay or Amazon. Frankly, it's costing you customers. You personally have been great though- it's very cool of you to even contact me about my experience- thanks! |

Hey Jason, thanks for coming to say that. I don't need the figure back though - I just think we made an error, and want to fix it.
As for pricing, that's not really up my alley - I passed along the issues raised here so that the owner and managers know what is being said. All I can tell you is this: we run coupons and an ever-changing blowout sale all the time, so discounts are the norm for us. We also try to have the best in customer service, a very wide selection of merchandise that includes hard-to-find items, and to keep and ship them in the best condition possible. We may not be the cheapest store out there, and on some items, we may even have incorrect pricing (we're human, we do make mistakes - and sometimes we even pay too much ourselves). And it's probably clear already that I can't just wave my hand and make all our prices lower - that's not one of my super-powers. But we're not greedy corporate monsters either! I work with people who play the games we sell, collect the toys and feel pretty lucky to work in an industry we love. Anyway, I can probably help a little with prices - coupons and discounts are big with us, so please let me know if you need a code or if there's something I might do to help. Mostly we run those on Twitter, Facebook or our blog, but I will gladly send current specials to anyone who wants them. -Bebs (MTG Player, LEGO enthusiast, custom toy/figure mangler, gamer) |

Not to beat a dead horse here, but I've passed over ToyWhiz a few times because of price. Quite often actually. Sometimes I feel like you'd need to be high as a kite to buy from ToyWhiz when all it takes is a two second Google search to find the item for 2/3's of their asking price.
Customer service is huge with me, and definitely give you guys some points for reaching out to Jason, and responding to our feedback, but I do have to agree with some of these other guys on the prices of a lot of items they carry.

I will say this, personally I have seen and been on your site a few times, but Inever ordered or thought about ordering anything, mainly due to high pricing. You can sell figures 2 ways, individually or as a entire wave. per case the odds aren't always the same, so finding a cable figure maybe 1 out of 2 cases where as wolverine is 3/case, so with factors like that I can see why some figures would cost more to purchase individually.
BBTS reconizes this and does charge more for variant/rare items but it's within a couple dollar range, nothing to crazy. Vision is 1 of the best examples on your site of stoner based pricing, originally it had a retail value of $7.99 in the US, $9.99 in Canada, ebay price is anywhere from $5 loose -70 max on ebay, and you're asking $150+ tax and shipping... I could see that maybe for the Nick fury or Archangle mail away limited edition figures or the SDCC 70th anniversary boxset, but not for a single carded figure! I can find the clear version without cape from china shipped for under $5, to me discount codes don't mean shit when you hav 400% markup on rare but semi common items. Now when we talk about more scarce items like ML MI, etc then you can be a bit more picky on pricing due to the fact the stuff's no longer made, but some Arkers actually can find vision on a peg, or hasn't even hit certain areas yet... crazyness. ebay is the way to go for me, after that BBTS or TRU. |

I haven't even bothered with Toywiz, glad I personally haven't even looked. 150$ for a 'rare' figure with the worst body mold for a character who IS a favourite. Again, good on Toywiz for even pricing it as that, there is a buyer for everything. It's not like we have to buy it lol.

As to my personal issue...I'm over it. It would be nice o see that awful Firestar removed from the loose Figures section as it's not in stock and is not part of the Marvel Universe line at all (and all the other figures in that section are). Why even list figures that are not available? BBTS does this too and it's maddening! |

I'm not sure how ToyWiz works, but with BBTS they keep listings for out-of-stock items if there is a chance they make get more in stock. Saves the Data Entry people some work.
Also, at least with BBTS, preorders and in-stock items are always listed first in each section. If you scroll down and start seeing "Out-of-stock", you might as well stop looking any further.

As for getting those categories in order, you're right - that's good advice and I'm talking now with the managers now about getting those in order. |
