Definitely interested in the Black Beauty cars, but not at $15 a pop for what looks like 1:24th-scale die-cast.
EDIT: Damn, I must have been tired when I typed that. I actually meant to type Hot Wheels scale (i.e. 1:64, not 1:24).

The figures are 6-inchers. Kind of more like statues than action figures if you ask me though.

The figures look good, I might be tempted on the Black Beauty if they make a 1/18 diecast.

Better, but still too pricey. Now if it was 1:24 scale....

My guess is a 1/18 scale Black Beauty won't be too far in the future. When Gone in 60 Seconds was released in 2000, we had a 1/18 '67 Shelby GT-500 within 4 months. Same with Fast and Furious in 2001 (and 2003, 2006 & 2009 ), Starsky and Hutch in 2004, Dukes of Hazzard in 2005, Batman Begins in 2005 and even Casino Royale in 2006. All the main cars from these films were released roughly within 4-6 months of the film hitting the theatre, so my guess is we'll see a 1/18 scale Black Beauty by Late Spring, Early Summer.
*If you haven't guessed by now, I am a vetern of the 1/18 scale diecast model car scene. |

According to the listing at BBTS, this car is 20" long. That's huge!

20" Black Beauty Car Replica - Green Hornet 2010 Movie edit: just saw the price lol For something like that, I'd rather have a Hot Wheels/Matchbox version or a 1:24th-scale model kit that I could enjoy building (while pretending I'm Kato ). Better yet, give me a Stealth Force version!
