Man, I’m so disappointed. I keep these guys closed because I love the clam shell packaging. I have my spot already saved for this....but....uhg.
Why the change now? |

They started reserving clamshell for classic figures, while modern and specialty release figures get the box treatment. Window box packaging for this was announced back in February.

I assumed it was them jumping on the wagon. Funny thing is. If I buy it. The packaging will go in the trash. The plastic clamshell I keep forever. Thin plastic like what covers the present figure, is not recycled. It clogs the machines and they toss themselves. So I know everyone wants to do their part, but watch a show on recycling. It will shed some light. Perhaps this is cost cutting as well? Oh well come what may.
