I actually would love a proper figure of that costume but there is no saving that figure lol. At least give it a new head.

I don't think the figure looks too bad, but I'm probably gonna keep him unmasked most of the time.

I'm a movie collector, but I do understand how they set up these waves, so I'm not going to gripe about that. I do, however, wish that they would release movie versions of Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Vision. As far as the heroes go, Hasbro has done a great job releasing those in the MCU (save for Iron Man Mark 7 and Falcon). I'm holding out hope for Vision and the Twins. I doubt that this will be their only movie appearance anyway.

Okay there's so much stuff that I'm a little lost. Will there be tiny Ant-Man figures like the ones from Age of Ultron? Those I can get behind.
And as much as I hate that they replaced the 3.75 figures some of the little AoU guys look alright. I saw the Hulk/Hulkbuster pack at Target the other day and came kind of close to getting it. |

I was hoping that we'd get Cloak & Dagger, and Spider-Gwen in Wave 2 of the Spidey Legends line, but that great-looking Kraven drastically lessens my disappointment !

Both Multipacks look good.
Is Amazon Thor a parts reuse? He looks like he's entirely new parts. Last edited by Pravus Prime; 02-14-2015 at 09:14 PM.. |

Was hoping for a more diverse and better articulated 3.75 assortment, but I suppose a movie Ant-Man and giant winged ant will suffice.

I did not expect to be as taken by the Superior Venom as I am, but I really want to pick him up now. As much as I want the BAF Ultron though, that's just not a wave for me. Might pick up the Ant-Man to round out the crew, but nothing else is really grabbing me. However, that Target Hulk, really inclined to head swap him and Avengers Hulk just to alleviate the color problems. That Amazon 4-Pack though, I can't throw my money fast enough. I've been dying for a Legends Movie Thor, I love his DW design, and despite how great the MS is, its just comically out of scale. FINALLY.
Also pretty stoked for a new Ghost Rider. Wish he'd have a bike, but oh well. Will happily be picking up the Hulkbuster wave too. Anyone else think that Tiger Shark's mold could be retooled for a comics Yondu? Hmmm. I getting a customizing idea. |

A little sad that the Amazon Hawkeye isn't wearing that new coat of his. But it looks to be a better than the Wal-Mart one from a few years ago though. I can't even move that guy without his joints bending in ways they shouldn't be.

Target 3-pack Ultron looks to be a repainted Beetle with different forearms. It works well, IMO. I actually dig it a lot more than the movie BAF Ultron. They humanized his design a little too much for my tastes.

After taking a look at the official images, I am more excited for a number of these than I thought I would be.
As mentioned in my last post, definitely digging the Hulkbuster and Black/Gold Iron Man which were both a bit of a surprise. Is Giant Man regular scale? He looks great but a regular scale Giant Man is kind of.....meh. Do the faces on the 4 pack look particularly bland to anyone else? Like they did not sculpt much in the way of muscles into the faces? Maybe it's just the angle of the pictures? Now I want Thanos even more but of course he's the BAF for a set I could care less about. I am glad I did not particularly care for the movie Ultron. One BAF I can pass on. Besides, the 3 pack version looks a LOT better to me and I am also digging the white Vision. The Hulk is meh but I can deal with 2 of 3 being winners. I am not a big Spider-Man fan but there are a number of those figures I am interested in for sure. The pic of the upcoming one for the next wave made me interested in him. Kraven looks AMAZING as does Scarlet Spider. Rhino also looks pretty slick but I could easily pass on him as well. Doc Strange is definitely a buy for me as is the multi-colored Vision. Ghost Rider looks pretty good as well although if he is without a bike it would make me laugh and grumble simultaneously. |

I for one like the mix of movie and comic figures. I am getting tired of the Captain America, Iron man, figure in every line. especially when is the same figure with a different repaint or remold

seeing misty knight and white tiger give me hope for characters like speeddball and kate bishop someday
but what is it with the big eyes on alot of the girls figures? the wasp, scarlet witch, captain marvel, all have the same eyes. Last edited by daveysockrocker; 02-15-2015 at 12:45 AM.. |

Honestly, with the recent exceptions of the last 4 lines, the BAF has rarely, if ever, had any relevance to the other figures in the wave. I had high hopes after the four waves from 2014 that this was a thing of the past. Unfortunately, it is not holding true with the upcoming waves.

Money. Hasbro knows you want an Avengers line and an Ultron, and a Hulk Buster all from the movie. So they'll split them over 3 waves so that you need to buy all 3 waves to complete.

Well, at least Ant-man will get a 3.75'' figure! And it looks pretty sweet too and ready to fit in with the others.
Hopefully the two packs sell really well and lead to any others they can release from previous lines like the Tony Stark figure. Which is awesome because he's one of the figures I wanted. Hopefully Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Vision find a way to get figures in that scale eventually too. |

I think is just the economy and how the toy market has changed due to smartphones too. If we go back to Toybiz days when movies such as Fanstastic Four had a toyline. Crazy I know and looking back at the toys they were not too bad, but also smartphones were not in the market to have kids attention. Now days the economy has is iffy at best the toys keep rising in prices, retailers don't want lines from all the movies in case it does not sell. I have heard Walmart tell toys companies which character sell most and what not.

He's a standard 6" figure. Makes him a nice oversized figured for a 4" shelf. Legends already has the BAF for a larger version but maybe they will make this cosutme in the 12" scale.
