Good for Hasbro! *applause*
Of course, with Fury Files, Wolverine: Origins, Marvel Crossovers and Super Hero Squad, why would Marvel want to go anywhere else?

- The Marvel Universe line is absolutely fantastic. - Mighty Muggs are so fun to collect, it's insane. - They did a good line for Spectacular Spider-Man. While some are a bit wild (jetpacks, etc.), it's based on a children's cartoon show so that's to be expected. The actual figures themselves are nice. - The 3 3/4 Wolverine and the X-Men figures look very nice, and so far, nothing crazy with jetpacks and the like. - The X-Men Origins: Wolverine line is pretty good. Nothing amazing, though wave 2/3 looks much better. There's really no reason to hate on the products Hasbro is putting out now. |

Wait since the license got extended that long, maybe Hasbro will start making Marvel Universe just as big as their Star Wars lines.......
THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! |

I personally think this is a very good thing. Consistent, good quality releases, especially in the Universe line.

Doh. More ranting from an incoherent ML fanatic.
Legends are 6 inches, Universe is 3 3/4 or 4 inches they are completely different lines. Universe is not replacing Legends. |

As long as the trollers quit buying these figures all together, we only need to worry about them complaining about ML for a few more months till it's dead
Then they'll shrivel up like the zombies in 28 Days Later |

I'm really hoping marvel takes a a chance and makes a marvel zombie line. Even if it offered as a mail order or convention special. Maybe start putting special offers in with the animated DVD's they make.
Personally iwould love to see them make a next avengers set, and a dark avengers set too. Another 8 years of hasbro and marvel honestly I think it is a great thing. |

There's really no reason to hate on the products Hasbro is putting out now. (Like HELL there isn't.) But hey, you have your opinion and I have mine. I personally like the 3.75" scale for several reasons:
Mighty Muggs - Sure you may not like them. I think they're cute, but I don't collect them myself (I admit I bought MM Soundwave, but only because it's Soundwave). But they are apparently popular enough that Star Wars MM's are on their 8th wave, Marvel is now up to wave 5 or 6, G.I.Joe and Transformers just came out with their 1st waves and even Indy had a couple of waves. So again, another arguably successful Marvel line from Hasbro. WATXM - I'm not that big of a fan, but there are others who love the line. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean the line automatically sucks and no one should like them. W:O - Same as above. Some of the figures I really like, such as the two you mentioned. Others, not so much. But someone else may love the movie version of Deadpool and Sabretooth, and I can't fault them for their opinion.

Marvel put the Kibosh on making toys and collectibles from Marvel Zombies. They finally decided that it had a negative impact on their characters. |

And the more moveable limbs, the more parts there are for children to break off. Just use some common sense about this stuff. Quote:

The upcoming ones, Cyclops and Iceman, are very nice. Though the ball-joints suck. Quote:

But either way, stop whining and moaning about it. Hasbro has said MULTIPLE times Legends is NOT done and more will be announced at SDCC. |

Wrong. Even if you DO care, you can put aside childish fanboyism to admit they are good figures. You can't say with a straight face that the Goblin or Cap figures in this line are not very good figures.(You call it fanboyism... I call it personal preference... there's a difference.)
Wow, shocking! My point is that they put out a new and unique line that has a large group of collectors very happy. It's okay that you don't love them, but they ARE well made.(Whatever floats your boat, man... but you cannot deny that there ARE those who don't share your love for the things... I'm proof of that...) Yes, it would. For us. But perhaps instead of going "WHY DON'T THEY THINK OF THE ADULTS OMGZ", you should realize they are children's toys. Those are specifically made for the younger crowd, where as MU and Legends, they cater towards us: the collector. And the more moveable limbs, the more parts there are for children to break off. Just use some common sense about this stuff.(And this is why I prefer the COLLECTOR'S line. Sound's like a perfect example of common sense, don't you think?) I don't "forgive" toy companies for bad action figures. That's infinitely retarded. They are good action figures, but you most likely dislike them for the same reason you don't like the Spectacular Spidey ones, which is fine. But again, they are based on a cartoon and geared to a younger audience. (No argument here. You have a point. And I dislike the Spectacular Spider-man figures because I just can't accept ANY Spider-Man figure that lacks good articulation, kids toy or collector's item...) Spoken like someone who hasn't seen the awesome Maverick figure! :P(Put your tongue back in your mouth... you're probably one of the few lonely people that actually knows... or CARES who Maverick is.) The upcoming ones, Cyclops and Iceman, are very nice. Though the ball-joints suck. Exactly. There ISN'T. Nothing you mentioned was a reason to HATE on the products. At all. You're just bumhurt that 3 3/4 is taking a higher importance over Legends. Honestly, just deal. Things change. 6" has been the focus for years. They're doing something new now. But either way, stop whining and moaning about it. Hasbro has said MULTIPLE times Legends is NOT done and more will be announced at SDCC.(Anyone that collected 6 inch figures would look at this and have to fight the urge to tell you about yourself. First they dick us over with poor quality figures, then spotty releases... which seem to be the norm with EVERYONE, suddenly... now this. And tell you what... you tell them to shrink the price to match the scale, and I'll try to deal with it. But until then, just try to deal with me... lord knows, I have to put up with you.) Quote:
I noticed the only complaint you could lobby against MU is that they aren't 6" figures. Sorry, but not everyone thinks that Marvel Legends is the be-all-end-all of Marvel toys. Some of them I thought just sucked. I used to collect them hardcore but I started losing interest in them even while Toy Biz was still putting them out. There were several factors involved, but basically I stopped collecting them altogether.

Haha.
"you're probably one of the few lonely people that actually knows" I'm lonely because I know who a comic character is? We both post on a fucking action figure message board. You really are a child. You should stop posting before you make yourself look more ignorant and hypocritical. |

I agree with you, Zeo, on pretty much everything you said. I do apologize, though, that Enigma is just too cool to know who Maverick is. Honestly, I had the old ToyBiz Maverick from the old X-Men line and loved him. I was completely stoked to get a figure of him so soon in the MU scale. This proves one of the points you made: that this scale will allow a far greater range of characters than Legends. There was never even a Legends figure for Maverick after how many waves!

I collected the 6" Marvel Legends stuff as well. And prefer the 4" line by far. Plus outside of the first wave, where I'll agree they stumbled on a few figures, Hasbro made some awesome ML figures. Marvel Girl being one of the best female figures ever in ML. And they improved even more moving forward after they got the hang of it, with the FFF, Ares, and Red Hulk waves. And they did shrink the price to match the scale. You just ignore the facts. Marvel Universe = $8.00 ($2.00 per inch.) Marvel Legends = $12.00 ($2.00 per inch.) I speak for myself, it's still too much for the scale, I've seen GI Joe figures for $6... now that's more acceptable... and I STILL don't give a damn about Maverick. What, I see him sucker punch Logan ONCE. So now I'm supposed to love him?
Your Wal-mart must price differently than mine. No consistency in prices, or they were too lazy to adjust them. And I don't seem to have friends in this thread, seeing as I think the Universe line is a rip-off and I don't like Mighty Muggs so don't patronize me by calling me that. Quote:

these are going to look great in the 3 3/4 inches cases that BBTS is selling. I have preorderd 3 of them, 2 vertical and one horizontial cases. each one hold abut 150 figures, so I figure one for MU, one for my joes, and one for other stuff |
