I hope they can give an extension. For a 20,000 goal - a lip licking Galactus smiling face - would be easy for them to make. Aunt May as the Golden Oldie can be an ode to the classic funny Twinkie eating Galactus comic...

Really exciting. A space has not been dedicated to this behemoth yet, but I’m working on it. My pressing matter at hand is the coming of the sentinel. Never did I think that these giant items would be realized. Thus, never did I plan for placement of them. A problem I gladly take on!

I'm happy for every backer that this got funded, I'm not a Marvel collector but I have to say this looks excellent and I really like the stand for the Silver Surfer which plugs into Galactus' hand. That's a great way to display them together IMO. |

Wait, that's all the stretch goals? It sounded like there would be more than two...

Are there only two stretch goals? That seems lame and certainly has no army builder component. Who can confirm there are only two?

What exactly do people expect from the Haslabs?
Are you backing for the main product or are you just going in for all the unknown tiers? Edit Given HABLAB Victory Saber, they may have adjusted Tier reveals going forward. Last edited by Designincase; 08-27-2021 at 10:54 AM.. |

Ideally both, because the initial price is based on minimum production numbers. But when they start hitting higher numbers amortization kicks in and the price becomes unjustifiable so they add more stuff on to maintain the value

To be honest the tiers so far are shit as far as I'm concerned. With these big figures, giving 6" Marvel Legends with barely any new parts is the least interesting thing. Give me effects, swap out parts, anything for the big item. I'm never going to use the figures that come with the Sentinel. Having the Silver Surfer that's seen several ML releases as an unlock is beyond dumb.

Tier 3 Morg requires 20,000. So under 2000 to go.

Difference is that a huge part of Galactus' identity/character in the comics is defined by those he literally empowers/creates: his heralds. Sure surfer is the most famous but every single comic Galactus is in, there's at least one herald. I have even read stories where Galactus does literally does nothing at all except stand there with an imperious smirk while the surfer dispatches Galactus' foes. Heralds are actual extensions of his power. Like, living blasts. Tiers for heralds that would never see the light of day goe far more towards completing the total experience, imo. I mean I get it, I'd love blast effects too. But those can be made/bought...someone will do it. Sell the heralds and use the money to buy effects, or make your own. But a $400 32" Galactus needs heralds beyond surfer, an almost 10 year old Terrax mold and even throwing in cosmic ghost rider. Firelord can can carry his own release but everyone else would almost certainly never see the light of day outside of the Haslab I agree man, beyond stoked. How is no one complaining about the hideous head sculpt on Galactus?, he has two giant blue holes on his forehead, he looks like one of those toybiz wall projector toys from the 90s and why does he have giant kitchen sink stoppers incorporated into his classic horns? His head is a mismatched mess when compared the the rest of his body, this figure may be giant but it's a steaming pile of crap compared to most Galactus figures before it, anyone buying this should take a deep breath step back and take a good long look at what you are paying $400+ dollars for, maybe Google the Heroclix version of Galactus, this Haslab version is a piss poor version of an iconic character. Jack Kirby would face Palm looking at this mess.

The family meeting was quite successful. The charts, graphs and message board testimonials were invaluable. I just backed mine.

I mean it's pretty obvious almost 20,000 people at this point either like the head enough to shell out 400 clams or it doesn't bother them enough to ruin it haha

Welp, they got me. Which will make it easy for me to resist the Rancor, so that's an added positive.

"... Sir, this is a Wendy's." Haha funny.
I'm just pointing out the obvious, that head sculpt is in no way good, anyone can see that; every picture that has been posted in this Forum celebrating how cool Galactus is depict him with a more classic head; why hasn't anyone been asking for a 2nd classic styled head?, or how about a way to connect Modok up to him, so much potential waisted, instead we may get a figure of Morg, a character that was known in the comic shops as "Turd" in the 90s.. The problem here is you assumption is wrong. Your opinion that it's bad is well your opinion. Certainly not going to convince you otherwise of that. But you misguided assumption that everyone else thinks that way is wrong. The two faces we have gotten seem to generally have a positive response, at the very least for the soon to be 20K backers. Connecting to Modok? Hating on Morg? There gets to be a point where you are just finding nonsense to hate. How about why Galactus doesn't have mechanical parts to move. Why not a container of power cosmic? |
