I debated getting 2 to resell one and recoup costs (would have worked for the Sentinel), but with it taking off, not sure that’s a safe bet. But I imagine selling the heralds will help (4” collector).

I did that lol, I have to think there will be a little glut of these waiting to sell, but I'm sure there will still be buyers. I think people seeing how crazy priced the Sentinel is even before release made more people buy in.

Finished at 30,793 backers! That means Hasbro raised $12,317,200 for this!
Kinda wish we got a fifth tier for that landmark, but still. Great stuff! |

And, yes Hasbro should do the right thing and throw in another tier stretch goal since it broke 30,000 backers. For God's sake multi-billion toy company, throw in one of or more than one of the following: 1. Unmasked Galactus head - we get an oddball Dr. Doom head Galactus that no one knows about or wanted but no unmasked or #2 below is offered? 2. Classic Galactus head with all the appropriate parts to turn this modern day Galactus that really only some of us want into a classic Galactus that most of us want. 3. The drill/jackhammer whatever it's called tool that should have been offered instead of a Dr. Doom head that no one knows about or wanted. I'm gonna have to go out and say the same thing about the Silver Surfer figure. We already have a SS that was released in the not too distant past. In fact there were two of them. Why in the heck would a stretch goal for a once in a lifetime giant action figure be a figure that not only do we already have but just got released twice in the past 3-4 years. But wait, now he comes with a POS plastic piece that anyone with a 3D printer could have made for free and given away on any random intersection if they so chose to do so. I'm sensing a theme here. Hasbro needs to learn how to read the room a bit better. Thanks for the base figure and I guess 2 of the Heralds. It seems like the Mogus Magii or Mogwaii guy is a mystery to most people even those who are life long fans. More of someone they saw on trading cards and nowhere else. Good going Hasbro. A new Surfer should have been included with Galactus without question. I will say however that I don't think it should have been a stretch goal, but in the end it doesn't matter because they just moved 30,000+ of these and we're getting it all anyway. |

I dig everything extra we're getting (even if I'll never put the Doom head on mind). But ending 8k+ over the last tier goal requirement without throwing in another extra is just a little disappointing.

Surprised this thread hasn't been revived considering it's shipped in the UK. In the US the labels are being generated for Fedex(mine have).
Displaying Model Behaviour Dan Who? Reviews PrimeVsPrime and numerous other UK reviewers have done unboxing and reviews. So far the only potential hiccups are a lightly damaged box and one reviewer the headlights weren't working. Last edited by Designincase; 10-14-2022 at 12:19 PM.. |

I’m not holding my breath. My sentinel was in label created for a month. The date kept changing then nothing was listed. I’m sure it will be here but I don’t expect this at earliest until mid November.

Of course last year we still had plenty of Covid restrictions.....but then the Rail Strike might be a thing. Not sure if that matters though.

I think hasbro prints all the labels at once, but can only ship so many per day.

With 5 coming, I'll wait for an official confirmation. If it works the same way it did with my 5 Sentinels, I'll be toward the end. Gives that Fallen One a chance to ship, as I already have my Firelords.

Official confirmations for 3 of the Galan orders arrived this afternoon. My Fallen One will not arrive in time. Boo hoo.

So after sitting on "Label Created" for 10 days now. I finally got the email from Pulse saying my order shipped last night.
These are coming from CA. I'm in Illinois and the item is already in my city. If it wasn't Sunday, they'd probably try to deliver it. So potentially when you get that email, Galactus may have already shipped a week ago with no tracking updates on that. It's great and crappy at the same time. I don't have to wait long but it also means you don't have a nice heads up so you can make you are there to receive. It doesn't appear though that Hasbro has put restrictions on sending it to a Fedex Location for pickup though like they do other packages. |

My Galactus arrived this morning after being in "Label Created" status until Friday. I posted in the Legends thread, so I won't rehash all that here, but your mileage may vary with Fedex. Mine was delivered unbeknownst to me, even though it was supposed to be signed for.
Anyhow, he's amazing. After messing with him a bit, he does want to wobble, being so top-heavy. I had planned to display him in a relatively high spot, so I may look into ways to "anchor" him somehow. Morg is exceptional, if lacking in extras of his own. It took a while, but I figured out Frankie's flame stand...sorta. I mean, she's in it but definitely needs more finagling. Surfer is okay. I mean, I have the Walgreens one, so there's not much new for me there. The flight stand is most welcome, and I'm happy to have multiple Norrins for different displays. His finish isn't quite as shiny as the Walgreens one. One might even say he's lackluster. |

Okay folks, I give up...how exactly does Frankie Raye – or any figure – insert into the fire base and resemble anything that constitutes a believable pose? I can't get her to fit at all without ending up at a 20-30% angle. I tried a few male figs – and they can kinda-sorta be wedged in – but in order to retain balance the resulting poses are nothing less than contortionist in appearance.
