Hot Toys is rapidly turning into Sideshow when it comes to endless (and pointless) cheap Clonetrooper/Stormtrooper/Whatevertrooper repaints while we keep waiting for important figures to get released like Padme or Bespin Han that were shown YEARS ago. I guess Hot Toys thinks some nobody character like Han Solo won't sell. And who wants Padme? Not us collectors apparently, as far as Hot Toys believes.

Talk about misreading your audience. Hot Toys, we buy your stuff for your uncanny depiction of realism not these stupid gimicky repaints, that's Hasbro's job not yours.

These are Con exclusives, this is where gimmicky repaints should happen. They're figures you don't need. |

Bespin Han or any other Han is 100% not happening because of Ford. There's been zero high end Harrison Ford products for almost 5 years now. He's not approving anything.

I can't imagine he's approving Black Series figures and not Hot Toys, and I think the initial SW actor contracts included likeness rights to all characters...

He is altering the deal, pray he doesn't alter it any further.

There’s zero reason NOBODY is doing high end Ford stuff. No statues, no figures, nothing over 6”. Everyone assumes they have their likeness rights away with the original movies but also when he came back for The Force Awakens they all could name their price. He could’ve definitely negotiated to get his rights back for him to just appear in those movies.
