Looks nice, I would just prefer them to revisit the Tobey Spiderman look, costume and glider. I doubt they would.

This is close, but Toys Era just has that representation I want that is closer to Spidey 2001.

Might get both... Depending on cost of the hot toys deluxe.

Are they still negotiating with Dafoe over the likeness?

Why can't they show the head?

Honestly, I like Toys Era's The Fiend better, but I'm hoping they'll improve this one with time haha

I assume either the sculpt isn't complete yet, or it's still pending approval. I doubt they have bothered making the figure without Dafoe letting them license his likeness beforehand.

It's almost 400 for deluxe. I prefer the Toys Era without comparing side by side...I guess if they include a younger looking Dafoe will be the ultimate test....wish they showed the unmasked head.

I just cannot preorder unless I see it.

TIL:
There are "Third Party" manufacturers stealing intellectual property from Hot Toys and Marvel.

I kind of get it that people think that a $170 unlicensed toy is better than a $20 retail version.

With Hot Toys it's a bit of a harder sell.

I hope the 1/12 lines aren't sleeping on this, or Ock for that matter.

I have both Toys Era Green Goblin and Doc Ock, and they're both good enough for me, getting the GG deluxe with Glider and whatever HT will charge for Doc Ock will probably save me $400 lol. I paid $430 combined for both Toys Era figures.

If Hot Toys can do these, I really hope Hasbro does some Marvel Legends too. I want Molina Doc Ock, Dafoe Goblin, and especially Tobey Spiderman.

I guess you got them at the right time.
The eBay listings I've seen has over $300 each.

I admit I was unaware of them before this morning.

There’s zero chance there won’t be another wave or at least some store exclusives and box sets to cover the remaining characters.

Shame you need to pay the deluxe price for what should be a quintessential accessory - the glider.

What's next - Ock only comes with his arms in deluxe?
