Hate the whole idea behind this suit and thought it was completely unnecessary in SM3. Having said that, excellent job HT!

I too am not a big fan of the New Goblin outfit from SM3. It looks like he's wearing a Paintball mask, while riding a snowboard.
However, I do have to give props to Hot Toys once again. Awesome likeliness to James Franco, and overall great detail. Too bad the SM3 Spider-Man is such a let down with his rubber boots and rubber hands. If they make a Sandman or Venom to accompany Spidey I might fain interest in them. |

This is a meh at best, the GG costume is not even close to my liking, sure it captures the movie suit but not a great design IMO. Even the modern looking suit his father wore in the movie was shit. The James Franco sculpt is sick, I'd get it to make a Pineapple Express figure, just need A Seth Rogan Headsculpt to accompany.

A for effort but my God this was one of Marvel's worst ideas of all-time.

What moron at hot toys thought this was a good idea? Good job and good sculpt, sure, but what a terrible costume from a terrible movie!!! Horrible, horrible, horrible- he looks like he should be a 90's Mountain Dew promo or something. Seriously, if any of you are planning on buying this, I won't berate you- I would just like to know why.

whats even more amazing is that it makes James Franco look like he's not strung out.

Anyone else notice that James Franco is playing a scientist in the new Planet of the Apes movie? WTF?

James Franco - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Not a fan of the redesigned Goblin or the movie, but HT did do a good job. Where's HT's Spider-Man 2 Doc Ock? That's what I want to see. Last edited by malcontentman; 06-07-2011 at 11:51 PM.. |
