They really could have done better with this figure. The head sculpt is just ok, there aren't a lot of accessories, and no helmet. For $240 or so I'd expect a lot more.

He didn't wear the helmet in Thor 2 that I can remember. So I can't fault them for not including it. Though, I do agree, the head sculpt isn't their best. The Avengers Loki had a much better likeness. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they update the head sculpt before release, as they have a tendency to do.

Yes, agreed, and I know he never wore the helmet in the movie, but to me, it's part of who he is and part of his look. It's like having Thor with no hammer. And even if they did fix the head, with such few accessories, and still no helmet, Id say at that price, its a pass for me.

Didn't he wear the helmet at the very end of the movie? I suppose I could just be thinking of Odin.
This does make me wish I bought the Avengers version, but I wasn't even a Hot Toys collector at the point. I don't have anything against this version, exactly. I like it a lot. But I just have no interest in owning a Loki that doesn't have that iconic helmet. |

I've got to agree, the helmet gives it that something, would much rather have that than the chains for example. Also is it just me are is there something off with his forehead?

The head sculpt has spoilt this otherwise impressive figure. I hope it ends up better once it comes out, glad I've got the Avengers Loki instead.
