The Marvel legends line will go down in history right alongside Mego Action Heroes as one of the best lines ever.
If you had the power to make one specific improvement, what would it be? Add additional articulation? Additional Accessories? Include comics? Increased character selection? Increase paint applications? REMEMBER..this is your chance to let your MATURE opinions and ideas be heard. Anything other than positive input will be deleted without mercy. I personally think the character selection is pretty awesome....getting a Union Jack AND Tombstone is insane, let alone in the same wave. I like the BAF feature as an accessory. I'm ok with less articulation and find these figures display much easier than older TB versions. My improvement would be to the paint. A little extra attention to color detail can go a long way.

I agree with you Steel, Paint applications would be my only critique. A little more paint on some of the figures would be aces.

i think the QC could be upped a bit, let us remember the whole RULK leg fiasco. i would also like, for certain charcters, the "grit" as i call to be reintroduced, and by that i mean texture as well as paint that gives it a more real feel instead of some cold smooth piece of plastic, i have seen a few new figs sort of using this now though. also i look at the new figs and i feel some could use, if not full finger joints, some more knuckle joints. and PLEASE some more BIG BAFs

I'll second the BIG BAFs idea. Rulk, however cool, seemed an odd choice for something that should only apply to characters that couldn't otherwise be included (i.e. Galactus, Sentinel, FFF, etc.).
Someone in the BAF Extravaganza thread suggested Jormungand (the Midgard Serpent) as a future BAF, and I think he'd be perfect.

I think HML needs more than one change to improve it.
First I think they need to bring back the paint washes to give the figure more detail like the old Toy Biz figs. They seem so much cheaper now than they did from TB. It's probably driven by the retailers but how about less required pieces/figures for each BAF. Segmenting a figure more than 5 or 6 times is ridiculous. Oh and bigger BAF. I know there's probably a lack of decent characters to pick from but some of these are getting ridiculously and could just be included in the line as a regular figure. |
