Wow. These are disturbingly realistic.

These would look great in a comicbook/collectibles shop, I just can’t wrap my head around people wanting to have these in their homes, I find Hot Toys eerie realistic enough sometimes, and they are 1/6 scale.
To each their own!

I would love that Mera (mostly since Hot Toys doesn't seem interested in releasing one...) but I would feel super weird having it in my house, not to mention that the price on these is probably insane. China's been putting out a lot of stuff lately where I find myself asking, sure it's cool... but why?

so i looked online to see how much these might be worth , infinty studio tend to charge around £3,700.00 (wonder woman movie price) roughly $4,795.44
though i agree with webz , can't really see having them. |

Alot of talent and artistry and I appreciate how good and accurate they are but not for me. It's a step lower than having your own Madame Tussaud. Not even sure I'd want a life-sized statue of myself.

Some of these "why would you want them" comments are weird to me. So you guys/gals are fine collecting figures that "kinda" look like them but wouldn't want something that looks exactly like them?
If I had the space AND willingness to fork over 4K for each piece, i'd happily pick up the Bruce Lee, both Jokers, and I think I remember seeing a Gal Gadot Wonder Woman by them. These would look brilliant in a museum styled room with comics and artwork displayed around them.

For me, I don't like cut off characters, I want the whole thing. If I have space for a 1:1 bust that's half the upper body, I have space for the whole body.
And that's a ballsy move with Mera... can't imagine she's going to be very popular. Last edited by amoneymoose; 10-07-2020 at 09:06 AM.. |
