I'm going to have to wait to see these in hand. But right now I'm leaning on just getting the 2 comic series only, and then the MU extremis.

For some reason the paint on these doesn't seem as crisp

the paint doesn't look crisp but if you look their missing all the part like warmachines weapons, and any other accessories...I'm still 110% getting these I know in hand the real figures will be a must buy.

The War Machine is cool but I think I prefer the comic version. Has anyone who has picked these figures {Wave 1} up recently posted what type of articulation ie XMO or MU that they have?

Articulation is XMO Wolverine style.

I figured they were prototypes cause of the paint and lack of weapon accessories that we see them with in package. Ive never been a super fan of the classic look armors I like armor to look like armor not muscle tights...the classics are good especially warmachine but realistic movie armor all the way for me!

War Machine looks really good, imo. He, along with Iron Man Mk VI, will be the only figures I get from this wave. It'll be interesting to see what the Movie Whiplash/CD figure looks like. The Comic CD looks good, so I'm hoping the movie one looks good too.
