Anybody know how tall a 1:15 scale figure might be? If the suited figures aren't compatible with Joe/MU scale I will RAAAAGE.

Divide a round-about average adult male height of 182.88cm by 15 and you get 12.192cm or 4.8inches .
That is a weird size. I wonder if that is how tall some of the Playmates Star Trek figures were. |

I listened to that MIB part of the presentation 3 times. This is what it sounded like to me; "... and I'll fit? to tell ya, the three and three quarter action figures in that scale...".
I heard no mention of 1:15 scale. |

i think the playmates star trek stuff was the truer 1:18th scale at 3 3/4" and maybe the same for the avatar line. joes are over 4 inches tall, MU is waay over that. so if anything the MIB stuff is about as tall as the joe and MU stuff.
ah yeah i heard "3 and 3/4 inch scale" in the vid. typoooo? |

Not that 09 movie stuff. I am talking about the numerous playmates line that went on for years before the '09 movie came out.
I think they were 4.5 to 5" . I hope when we see a photo from toyfair that someone sticks a scale next to one of these MIB guys so we know for sure how big they are. Last edited by JustryGT; 02-10-2012 at 03:52 PM.. |

ahhh right those ones.
i'll prolly pick a few of these up. i remember buying the edgar bug toy and both j and k with their weirdly slimed, wind blown, crouched, and oddly articulated bodies. Last edited by NoodleChow; 02-10-2012 at 03:49 PM.. |
