Devastator doesn't have a thing on Sergeant Frog, clearly.

These kits were originally released separately, but just like the previous Keroro Robo Mk. II God Keron, Bandai is releasing a group package with an extra bonus, this time a kind of cross between a cape and a hitatare I guess.

I built the Mk II Keroro Robo combiners and remember being fairly disappointed with the combined form as it was too fiddly and was difficult to keep together in any sort of decent way. From what I've heard, this design fares a bit better, plus it's a giant samurai robot combiner piloted by alien frogs.

How can that not be awesome?

This franchise has always fascinated me, kind like how Doko Demo Issyo does, mostly because I have no idea what the hell is going on, and it's fun to imagine just what is.

Honestly, I watched a fair bit of the show but didn't think it was all that great. Clearly it must be doing something right though, because the merchandising blitz doesn't seem to have let up at all since it first came out in ... what, 2004?

How is the plastic quality? Typical plamo styrene, or gushingly durable amounts of ABS and POM?

Basic plamo styrene and polycaps I'd imagine. It's a standard quick snap bandai kit.
