These are still prototypes of figures that are a year away from being released. They made it clear at the EVO that these aren't final. That's the danger of showing unfinished items. They've said that there will be two types of figures released, one set with full articulation and one set with diorama style bases.

Being a huge fan of The Ring/Ringu (surprising ain't it), Hisako very much appeals to me.

Considering how many people are anticipating the PC port and Season 3 in Marchish, I'd say yes.

Jago and Shadow Jago look a little bland compared to the others but they all look sweet.

Can someone please contact the Company on Twitter (was it twitter?)
and ask if there are any News on the FULL Articulated Figures? The Jago Figure with Display Base does not seem to be very articulated. I hope that there will be Pictures from the Full Articulated Figures soon. Last edited by Ventus; 11-06-2015 at 10:59 AM.. |

Some have more than others. Our goal is to make the figures look highly detailed & add articulation that fit their design.

These guys must have consulted Todd McFarlane before designing these things.

Wait, so do these have articulation or not? Previous pics made it look like they did but the figures in the gallery you just posted all look like statues.

So according to Ultimate Toy Source, only Spinal and Fulgore have full articulation. They're only limited articulation. The Shadow Jago Exclusive only has wrist, shoulder and head articulation. It's 35, but shipping costs them over 10 for a 6 inch "figure" and a code. It's mainly due to the ENOURMOUS box they put it in. And for near 50 or over? It's an EASY PASS. I tried talking myself with Ultimate Toy Source and they said they wanted the "figures" to be looking good rather than articulated, but apparently they can hide the articulation in fulgore and spinal it looks like, but not the rest. Should have just made them statues in larger scale cause it's a rip off and many in the KI community think they are cool, but for the pricing for a "figure" with no articulation a lot of people are mad on both the forums etc with more negatives than positives from what I've seen. Ultimate Toy Source gave free figures to the big people in the fighting game community such as Maximillain Dood to promote it and only post that they're selling "fast" to make more people purchase them but most people have gave it an easy pass because of the price and lack of articulation.

Yeah, that's really lame. Modern toy collectors demand sculpt and articulation in equal measure. No articulation = no sale. This line is gonna tank hard, especially at that asinine price point.
That said, I'm glad at least Fulgore is posable. I might pick him up if the final figure is decent and I can find him at a discount. Too bad about Hisako being immobile, although they would have to do something pretty innovative with her articulation to get her in some of the contorted poses she strikes in the game. But the figure in the updated pics you guys posted looks like shit compared to the prototype: The paint looks way better on the proto. It's way too clean-looking now. And the knee (and possibly elbow) joints on the proto have been removed. Last edited by Dolemite; 12-10-2015 at 03:14 PM.. |

Again, this line will tank hard, ESPECIALLY at that ridiculous price point. |

I guess I've been under a rock. Season 3 of Killer Instinct? Is it a TV show?
