Oh God, I hope this is happening. I remember when I was a little kid going into Sears one day with my Mom and they had a display table with the original AT-AT on it and you could play with it. I wanted that thing so bad but it was too expensive.
I've since seen the original AT-AT, and while cool, it is terribly stubby and not at all anywhere near scale. I don't expect this new one to be in perfect scale, the Big MF wasn't true either but damn close enough. I will buy this thing. I will buy this thing. I will buy this thing. |

Sounds like it's going to be pretty cool, though pretty expensive too. I might get it, but will probably wait for it to go on sale. I'd be more interested in a Slave I, tbh. Which it would make sense if they also remade/re-released it. It'll be interesting to see exactly how big this thing is. At the moment, the Lego version they're releasing later this year seems more interesting. It'll most likely be less expensive, and will fit in nicely with the other Lego set's I plan to get.

I think it'll be bigger and have a 2 floor body to hold lots of figures and 2 speeder bikes, plus a bigger head to hold about 6 figures in. it would probably be about the height of a desk and long as a desk too.

It's the price you pay for awesomeness, just look at Darth Vader he lost all his limbs and he's a total bad-ass!

This looks like a slide from the Hasbro's upcoming Toyfare presentation (like we've seen in years past), especially now that more have been posted. I hope whoever has the complete set of images releases them all. I hate how toy companies store up all of the big news and only gives us 2 big weekends of it each year. I think new waves and product should be shown as it's ready to keep up the intrest year round instead of during toy sales slow months: after christmas and the end of summer.

Depending on the release date, this may be my birthday gift for the year. Been wanting to replace the original AT-AT I sold when I was a teen (due to moving, NOT because I wanted to get rid of it).

I've been wanting an At-At forever. I don't know how many of the vintage I've passed up on E-bay and the newer POF and newer version of these vehicles. I really don't like the scale of the old At-At with the out of proportion body. It just doesn't look right. I hope Hasbro releases this ship and I will be buying at least two maybe three. Where will I put them I don't know but I'm definitely going to be buying them! Now I need some more At-At drivers and time to start building that Snowtrooper army!

As awesome as this will be, I can only imagine what the price tag will be for it. My guess is it will be similar in the BMF, with a tag of $150. I already have an AT-AT from 97-98, but if I end up getting this one, I will definitely wait for it on clearance.
