They should totally do a new variation on Rocklords.
Though instead of making them transforming toys, just make them super poseable figurine kits of dudes made out of rocks. It'd be like those Assemble Borg figures, only each piece on it's own would look like a rock. You could have all sorts of swappable rock arm weapons and junk.....I'd buy one. The 70's Pet Rock gave way to the 80's Rock Lords/People, and I thought they were great.
Of course, I pretty much loved any toy that was designed to change from one form to another.

Mattel had the Rock people in He-man, and Tonka had rock lords...
In the end, isn't that kinda what the entry form movie transformers are too? I'd love to see some rocklords reinvented, if even in some kind of Joe/Inhumanoids subline. =3 I wonder if Mattel will do the Rock People for teh MOTUC though. The original rock people could come apart too. =D I remember doing that to mine at least. That same guy used in the strip. Don't know his name anymore, but not Boulder of the rocklords. Love the MOTUC one. Really like the blog entry below it too.
Also, happy birthday Matt!

Cute.
Sometimes I find the comments even more entertaining than the toon.
